Can't Win

Minho's Decision

Kim Yi Cheol POV:

"Why can't Kimchi sleep with me?", asked Minho.

"What's going on you two?", I asked, as I walked out of the room. "Whatever it is, talk about it tomorrow morning". I pulled Hyunjin into the room.

The next morning I woke up and saw the chaos all my friends made. "Guys, we have to go to school!", I said. An hour later, we all got ready. We all were walking to school.

"Guys, I have something to say. "I like Minju a lot. I was wondering if I could sit with her today privately. What do you think, Kimchi?", asked Minho.

That broke my heart. But I still like him. "You should tell her", I said, as everyone looked at me in shock. "She deserves to know your feelings". The next part was a bigger shock to everyone. "She also may reciprocate the way you feel". I looked down.

"Thanks. Then I'll tell her", he said.

We went to school and saw Minju walk up to Minho. They began talking. The rest of us got to our classes. Minho was so busy thinking about her that he didn't talk to me until the end of the day. And all he said was 'excuse me'.

I went home. "Why are you so quiet?", asked Lisa, one of my sister's friends.

"Well, I like Minho. And he likes Minju. And you know Minju is perfect. She has everything. Perfect body, attitude, and a hard worker. And now on top of all that I'm supporting him", I said.

"Well, we know he's your best friend. And since he might be busy, why don't you hang out with us?", asked Rose.

"Yah, we can go talk to BTS. Hold up, he knows right?", asked Jennie, as Jisoo nodded.

It was night and I fell asleep. I woke up the next day, and got a phone call. "Kimchi, hurry. I'm waiting", said Minho, over the phone. This was the chance we could finally spend some time together.

"I'm coming!", I said, running to get ready.

I ran out the door and saw a surprise. In the passenger seat was Minju. "Hello", I said, bowing because she's older than me and younger than Minho.

She smiled. I used to get into the passenger seat. Now I sat in the back. I groaned. Why would I have to be here? I'm just third wheeling. Minho and Minju kept talking. I just stayed silent. Once we got to school, I immediately walked to Hyunjin.

"I just rode in Minho's car, with Minju in it. I literally was silent the entire time", I said.

"Aww. You poor baby", said Hyunjin. I rolled my eyes.

It was lunch and Jeongin and Seungmin were spilling the tea. "So you know how you haven't been talking to Minho. He noticed. So during one of our classes, he asked me. 'Why is Yi Cheol ignoring me?'. I was literally annoyed with him", said Seungmin.

"First he kisses you and now takes you in his car with his crush. Maybe he's trying to ask you for relationship advice", suggested Jeongin.

"What? Maybe. But that doesn't seem like it", I said.

"KIM YI CHEOL! STOP IGNORING YOUR BEST FRIEND! I'VE TRIED TO TALK TO YOU ALL DAY!", yelled Minho. We were currently in the next class, and I may or may haven't ignored him a few more times.

"Shh. Then the entire class does not need to know our business", I said.

"Our business. So you're dating?", asked Jisung.

"No, way. She's definitely liking herself on Hyunjin and Minho's crush on Minju", said another.

"Is there any tea to spill?", asked the teacher.

"So, basically. Minju is single and I like her a lot", said Minho.

We all pretty much gathered in a circle and sat on the floor. "What about Kimchi?", asked Jisung.

"Jisung, I know your younger sister. I can become your brother-in-law", I said, as Minho continued his story. That shut him up.

"So I'm going to tell her one day", he said.

One year I thought.
