The Carnival

Kim Yi Cheol POV:

It was time when Minho called me and told me that our 'hangout' would be in an hour. "Noona, I need help!", I yelled from upstairs. I was in my room. "What do I wear?"

"Uhh. What type of date is it?", she asked.

"Well, I don't know", I said.

Jisoo went through my closet. "Here, wear this!", she said, as she threw a white sweatshirt and black jeans at me. "When in doubt, look cute". She left.

I changed and was about to walk out of my room when I heard voices downstairs. "Minho, welcome in. I assume your hangout will be over before 11:00", said my grandmother.

"Yes it will", he said.

I walked downstairs blushing. I wonder what he's wearing. Good thing I went for simple because we wore the same outfit and we both had our circular glasses on. "Hey", said Minho, red on his cheeks.

"Hi", I said.

"Aww, you guys are matching, let me take a picture of you two", said Jisoo, as she made both of us stand right next to each other. She sent them to my phone. "Come before 11:00 A.M.".

I blushed and walked outside the house with Minho. "So, what are we going to do?".

"Let's go to the carnival", he said. He looks like a child.

We went to the carnival and there were a bunch of people. "Two tickets please", said Minho.

"Aww you guys are so cute", said the girl who handed us the tickets.

"We're not dating", I said, as a blush flooded my face.

"That blush says so otherwise", she said, as she looked at our intertwined hands.

I immediately removed them and we left. "Let's go on the rollercoaster", I said.

"Sure why not?", he said.

"Ahhh!", screamed Minho. He could've told me that he was scared. This little dork. Once we got off, Minho looked traumatized. "That was so scary", he said.

I laughed at him. "Then why did you go?".

"Well, I wanted to try something new", he said.

"Hey guys", said a voice. We turned around and saw Hyunjin and Minju.

"Hey", Minho said. Minho and Minju kissed while Hyunjin and I stood there awkwardly. I just waved at him and he waved at me back.

"So what should we do?", asked Hyunjin.

"Well, how about we go on the ferris wheel?", asked Minho.

Minju and Minho got together while Hyunjin and I got in another one.

"I'm so glad you're here", said Hyunjin. "I would have third wheeled so badly".

"Me too", I said.

"Why are you and Minho wearing matching clothes?", asked Hyunjin.

"It wasn't necessarily intentional. Anyway, I can't believe this. This was the third time it happened. Anytime Minho and I hangout, his relationship will always stop us", I said.

"I get it. I'm happy for them but my feelings for Minju aren't gone yet", said Hyunjin, as he smiled at me. I smiled back.

The ride ended and the sun was gone. "I guess we should go home", said Minju.

"Yep, okay well bye", I said. The entire time I walked home I was thinking. Minho went to drop off Minju at her house and Hyunjin's house is in the opposite direction. I walked into the house, and saw my sister and grandmother waiting.

"So how did it go?", asked my grandmother.

"It was terrible. It happened again. Minju came and we couldn't spend time together. At Least Hyunjin was there so I wasn't alone", I said.

"Don't you want to eat?", asked Jisoo.

"I'll just go to sleep", I said, as I went to my room.
