Kim Yi Cheol POV:
"Hyunjin, why are you crying?", I asked.
"Recently, Kkami hasn't been doing well. So I went to the vet. The vet told me that Kkami will soon die", he said, as the tears rolled.
"Why didn't you tell anyone?", I asked.
"Because everyone has their own problems to deal with", he said.
"That doesn't mean we'll stop caring about you. You can always talk to me, Hyunjin. Okay?", I asked. I gave him a hug.
"Thanks", he said, as we both fell back asleep.
It was the next morning and Hyunjin gave me new clothes. We both got ready, ate breakfast, and went to meet up with our friends. We saw Felix, Jisung, Jeongin, Seungmin, Minho, Changbin, and Chan.
"Hey guys", I said.
"Why were you walking together?", asked Minho.
"Well, yesterday night I slept over at Hyunjin's place", I said.
"So you're dating?", asked Changbin.
"OMG, what about-?", began Jisung, but Jeongin stopped him from saying 'Minho'.
"Yah, it's not that serious", I said.
"It kind of is", said Seungmin. I rolled my eyes.
"Guys, what are we doing today?", asked Felix.
"I know let's play hide and seek in the mall. Chan hyung you're it!", said Hyunjin, as the rest of us ran.
"Why me?", he asked. We all made it to the mall. Chan began counting and we began to hide.
"Hyung this way", said Hyunjin, as he took me somewhere.
"I'll take him with me", said Minho, as he pulled me his way. I was worried because Minho can get really competitive when playing hide and seek.
Chan soon began finding everyone else except us. Chan and the rest of our friends began looking for us. They soon began approaching my hiding spot. "Let's move", said Minho, as he took me into a mall.
They were still approaching our way. "I have an idea", I said. I grabbed two coats and caps. I gave one of each to Minho. "Wear it", I said. I kept walking at Minho till his back hit the wall. I put my hands on either side of him, trapping him. "Pretend kiss me", I said, winking, leaving him a flustered mess.
We both leaned in close. If we moved more than ½ a centimeter we would've kissed. Our friends were approaching. Suddenly Minho put his hands around my neck and kissed me. Our friends saw and immediately left not knowing it was. The kiss lasted about 1 second.
We both pulled away. "I'm so sorry. I just got nervous and I didn't want to lose", said Minho. I was a blushing mess still trying to process what he just did.
"It's okay. It's my fault for suggesting it anyway", I said.
"No, it was a good idea but if I didn't kiss you it would be even better. I can't believe I kissed someone like my younger brother", he said.
I froze cold. I forgot. He sees me like a younger brother. Also in a way as just a friend. Friends. I guess that's what we'll always be. "Found you!", says Felix.
"Well you two one. Congratulations!", said Chan.
We all went home. The gap between me and Minho was awkward. But it's fine, at least he's not bringing it up. I ignored him the entire day I stayed at their house. I told Seungmin, Jeongin, and Hyunjin.
"So he did that?", asked Hyunjin.
"Maybe I should give up anyway", I said.
"No way. Minho hyung deserves someone like you in his life", said Seungmin.
"Who kisses someone and acts like it's all normal?", asked Jeongin.
"I don't know", I said. I slept again with Hyunjin because he's one of my best friends.
I woke up in the middle of the night to hear Minho and Hyunjin talking a bit loudly.
