Chapter 3

"What do you think of this?" Maria questioned "I mean this whole Max and Liz thing."

"Well I think it's great if your in to that kind of thing." Michael said casually as he lounged on the sofa which doubled as a bed.

"Don't you want to get married?" asked Maria getting a little worried.

"What's the point, you go to the church, a guy says some stuff and everything stays the same. We already know we're going to be together forever so what's the difference?"

"How can you be so sweet and so infuriating at the same time?" Maria said as she sat down on the couch next to Michael.

"What, do you want to get married?"

"Yes, Michael, is it to much to ask that one thing in my life be normal?"

"Wait! Nothing in our lives is going to be normal, at least not when you're with me. But if you want to get married we will. If that's what you want that's what's going to happen." Michael said scooting closer to Maria and kissing her on the head. "It means a lot that you came with us, with me."

"I love you Michael, we're in this together."

Michael smiled "Maria will you marry me?"

"Yes."
