Samantha looked up from her diary, having recalled her troubled childhood, documenting the agony she had felt. Her final words were the summary of the plan, the entire reason she had done everything that she had done. Her thoughts turned to Annabelle, who had just gotten engaged to her lover. The High Priestess' only regret was that she had to stay out of her sister's life. Aside from sending the occasional ten grand, Samantha could not have let Anna have a part in her life, as the less she knew, the better protected she would be when Samantha's plan finally came to fruition,

"They arrived at the airport, mistress," A werewolf warned, stepping into the room with the High Priestess, clasping both hands over her head, and bowing low,

"I thank you greatly," Samantha replied, "go forth and intercept them, daughter of Bjorn,"

The werewolf turned and left, unable to shake the feeling that something was wrong. The High Priestess had analysed every last detail of the plan, leaving nothing to the hands of anyone else. Only she had the power to accomplish the task at hand. Closing the diary, she stood to leave the room, but floorboards creaking outside made her stop. Summoning a knife, she spun outside, but saw nothing,

"Strange," Riley said, stepping from an adjacent room, "I thought I had heard something,"

"Shall we go back to Paris, then?" Samantha asked, irritated by her half brother,

"I still have some more planning to do," Kinetic replied, "thank you for the alloy clothes, by the way,"

"If we are going to battle Noctum," Samantha replied, "we should not have to worry about shirts ripping during the confrontation,"

"Take the other two to France," Kinetic suggested, "I will be done by the time you return,"

Samantha nodded, before striding past Kinetic, moving through the cabin towards Jones' room. Riley made sure she was gone before entering the High Priestess' room, closing the door in just a way so that it looked the same as when she had closed it, with just a tiny sliver open. He found exactly what he was looking for in an instant, seeing the just closed diary, shining in the candlelight. The book was so old and worn that a tiny piece of a page stuck out of the bottom,

"Hastened revival?" Kinetic whispered, "I wonder what you are doing with this, and what your plans for us are, once you're done,"

He leafed through the pages, chuckling at the sound of the violence that Samantha was planning to inflict upon her abusive father, until he came to a newer page, one that had a very familiar name inscribed upon it,

"Half brother," Johnathan Stone murmured, "I knew I was the product of an affair, guess it truly is a small world,"

Then he turned the page once more, coming across the plan. His eyes widened as he read over the lines, coming to terms with the words that they contained. All of a sudden, he knew what he had to do, he knew what the mission was. In the Cryo-Chamber below, a cry of agony shook the lodge, as the being below shrieked with agony,

"Ready to go?" The High Priestess asked Kinetic, as she waited outside his room,

Riley stepped out, and considered attacking the Priestess for keeping the diary secret. He decided against it, instead going with her. A dark void surrounded him as he headed to Paris, for a final showdown.
