Assassin's Creed: Remnant

Chapter 18

Y/n POV

Tonight was the night of this bullshit dance and every one in RWBY, NDGO and my team decided to chill at our penthouse until the dance started. Blake and Yang were going together, Ezio and Weiss were going together, Altaïr and Ruby were going together, the Kenway brothers were going with NDGO, Kassandra and Alexios were just going for fun, and I am going on guard duty. I come out of the room with my assassin robes on and my pistols holstered by my sides.

Weiss: Uh, where do you think you're going?

I turn and face the group who looked confused on where I was going.

Y/n: I'm not going to the dance. I'm going on guard duty for the night.

Ezio: C'mon, why aren't you going to the dance?

I sigh and shake my head before walking to the balcony.

Y/n: No one asked me.

I then preform a Leap of Faith off the balcony into a pile of leaves at the bottom. I exit the leaf pile and climb onto some buildings where I overlook the ballroom where the dance was being held. I see NGDO, RWBY, and my team all walking into the ballroom for the dance. I keep posted on the building watching for any Templar spies of any kind. While waiting I see a woman in all black clothes on a building next to me that began running toward the tower so I instinctually followed her. I watch as she eliminates Atlas guards by killing them with what seemed like fire dust, or it could be her semblance. I follow her inside and find her nowhere so she must've taken an elevator so I take a spare elevator and find her at the communications room. I look at her shoulder and see the Templar symbol. We look each other dead in the eyes before taking out our weapons and circling each other. She charged at me with her two scimitars but I parry her attack and spin my sickles around before charging at her. I slide between her legs before kicking her in the back which sent her flying to the floor but she quickly got back up and ran at me. She tried to deliver a strike but I dodged it before grabbing her throat.

Y/n: Have a seat, bitch!

I then throw her into a chair before going into strike her. She barely dodged the attack and instead I cut the chair clean in half along with the terminal it was at. I scrape my sickles along the ground before slashing upward creating a wall of fire around the woman and I. She seemed genuinely scared and confused at what was going on so I assume she must've thought she knew who I was but when I used my semblance to create the wall of fire her suspicions died instantly. I run at her and we clash blades but I sweep her legs and kick her to the other end of the firewall where she dropped both her weapons and was paralyzed with fear. I start slowly walking toward her while clashing my sickles together occasionally.

Y/n: Pick 'em up.

I continue to slowly walk toward her but she instead made her escape by jumping over the wall and barely escaping. I crush her scimitars which seemed to be made of glass before making the firewall disappear and walking toward a window which was broken.

Y/n: Corre, corre, pequeña espía. (Run, run, little spy)

I put my sickles by my sides and jump out of the broken window before taking out my scroll and messaging Goodwitch and Ozpin to meet in his office in the morning. I put my scroll away and start parkouring back to my teams penthouse. I change out of my robes and put my weapons away before walking to my bed and falling asleep on it.

Ozpin, Goodwitch and I stood in Ozpins office discussing my encounter last night. They both showed an understandable amount of worry about the situation but with he had an idea.

Ozpin: I have a plan.

Y/n: I'm listening.

Ozpin: You and your team will go to the stronghold you told me of and attempt to stop their plans. If you succeed, you will eliminate the remaining Templars in the stronghold.

Y/n: What if they start up the train? They claimed the train would run toward Vale.

Ozpin: If it reaches the city I will have students and assassins assist in clearing out Templars.

Y/n: Understood. I'll notify my team and prepare for a bullhead.

Ozpin: Goodluck to you.

I turn and leave Ozpins office. I message my team the mission details and to be ready by the time the other students have their missions. I put my scroll away just as the elevator arrives at the ground floor. I walk out of the tower and see a mass amount of students walk to the amphitheater. I had the bad feeling RWBY would get a mission that involves Templars which will end in them getting themselves into a bad situation.
