Chapter 14

Y/n POV

I was in the library with RWBY, my team and JNPR. JNPR, my team and I were all reading while RWBY were playing a board game, at they weren't very quiet about it.

Ruby: Yang Xiao Long, prepare your kingdom for battle!

Yang: Bring it on!

Y/n: Dear Oum, when do they shut up?

I say slamming the book I was reading into my face. I heard chuckles and giggles from the others at the table.

Altaïr: It's only been a couple minutes.

Y/n: It's been a fuckin' hour.

I take the book off my face while the girls continue to play their game while Yang and Blake were oddly close to each other, physically. It didn't bother me, it just looked kinda odd. Edward and Connor had Nebula and Gwen come over to talk. Some pieces of the game got thrown over to us which made it even more annoying.

Y/n: Imma kill 'em.

Ren: I don't believe Ozpin would appreciate it in the library.

Y/n: Then I'll kill 'em outside.

Nebula: How about we don't kill anyone?

Y/n: Who said it was a "we" job? It's a me job.

Nebula: Let me rephrase; how about you don't kill anyone?

Gwen: I wanna join him.

Connor: Don't support his ideas.

Y/n: Support my ideas. They're great!

Altaïr: That is up for debate.

Y/n: Well fuck you too, asshat.

Altaïr: Tasaraf binadj (Grow up)

Y/n: Fuck you, I am grown up.

Altaïr: *sigh* Right, forgot you understand Arabic.

I suddenly get a message from Ozpin telling him to meet him in his office. I get up and inform my team of our meeting before leaving the library with them. We walk to Ozpins tower where we enter an elevator. Once the elevator is at the top we're greeted by the sight of Ironwood, Goodwitch and Ozpin in his office.

Ironwood: Ah, so these are the best students you have.

Ozpin: Indeed.

I have a bad feeling about Ironwood so I tuck my neckless under my shirt to hide it before we walk up to Ozpins desk.

Y/n: You wanted to speak with us, Professor?

Ozpin: Indeed. Ironwood has a friend who will be working as a combat professor alongside Glynda. And I would like you boys to show him around the school.

Y/n: Sounds easy. Who is it?

Then a ding is heard from the elevator behind us. When we turn around we see someone who I never would've expected and someone Edward and Connor were taken aback by.

Haytham: Edward? Connor?

Y/n: Haytham?!

Haytham: Ah, Y/n, so good to see you again. I never would have expected you boys to attend Beacon.

Connor: Dad, what are you doing here?

Haytham: I'm assisting Ms. Goodwitch with her combat class. I'm sure some of the students wouldn't mind a bit of Vacuo combat training. I called in a favour from the General and asked him to bring me to Beacon.

Y/n: Altaïr, Ezio, would you both mind taking Haytham around the school please?

Ezio: Of course. Right this way.
