4. I didn't change

Chapter Four 

I didn't change

3rd person pov 

the next morning when she woke up to sarah in her bed, she smiled and stretched as she got up and got dressed for the day. soon after sarah woke up to and put on some of the clothes that she kept with her at juliettes house. they left her house and decided to go shopping for things that they needed at sarahs house. They got to the smaller stores on the cut and they walked around before they heard a loud noise and a groan coming from john b. 

"did you just yeet yourself over that chain?" sarah asked and juliette laughed as she ran over and helped john b up off the ground. he thanked her and she nodded 

"I don't know why you're running but I think that was the funniest thing I've seen in a while" juliette told him and he scoffed as they helped him up and brought him to the car. they got in and he put the seat all the way back 

"do you see a car? Like a cop SUV?" he asked 

"yep there is a blue and white cop SUV. What is going on John b? What did you do? " juliette asked 

"nothing can we just go?" he asked and she nodded as she forced sarah to push the gas and they drove off and away from them. they drove to her house and juliette waited in the car for sarah and john b because she didn't want to invade but she also didn't want to be around sarah for much long either. 

once they came back out with john b intact, she watched them as they got in and sarah started to drive them somewhere. 

"OK where the hell are we going? Because I feel very confused as the backseat person who has no idea where we're going or anything that's happening" she stated 

"we are going somewhere and you're coming with us to be my getaway if anything happens to us. I know that you hate it and I know you're still angry at me, but you're gonna come with us so deal with it" sarah said and she drove them to the dock as they got out of the car and she groaned. she decided to go with them but she didn't know why. the whole thing was a stupid idea and she hated being involved 

"actually, no, you know what I have work and I cannot go on any adventures today. That include me leaving the island to go somewhere that I should not be going especially where I have no idea where I am going. I don't know what you're doing or why you're doing it but after yesterday I already need some distance from you and going with you to somewhere that I have no idea where we're going and possibly spending the whole day with you and John B does not feel like the dream job that I want. I need time away from you so I'm gonna go to work and I'm gonna do what I do and then when this whole thing ends and you come back from where you're going, you can tell me about the adventure you went on and then I'll be involved, but for right now I'm not." she told her 

"jules, I don't want you to stay mad at me forever. I know what I did was fucked up I know what I said was fucked up but can't you just go along with this?" she asked 

"no, Sarah I can't I'm leaving. john b I will see you later and good luck on this adventure. I'm sure I'll hear about it from Sarah or from Pope or from literally anyone else I gotta go" she exclaimed and she walked away from them off the dock and home. 

sure it was far and she didn't know what or why she was doing what she was doing but it didn't matter because she was pissed and that was enough to keep her going. to be able to go to work was better then anything but it was also the annual movie series and she had to go not only for work but for herself. 

so that's what she did, she went home and changed into something more comfortable as she did what she needed to. going alone was going to be strange and she knew that topper, rafe and kelce were going to be there but she didn't care about that either. 

"so youre going to that thing tonight?" her mother asked her and she nodded as she turned to her and sighed 

"yeah, a lot of things have been going on lately, and this is the one thing that hasn't changed" she told her 

"you've changed" her mother exclaimed 

"I'm done having the same conversation over and over again I didn't change. I have been the same girl since I was 11 and for some reason you refuse to admit that for every single part of you hates the fact that I know who I am and you don't. Do not care what you think about me or about my life or about what I'm doing because it doesn't matter. yes I'm going there because things have changed and I want one thing to stay the same so before you say anything else I'm leaving, have a good night" she told her and she grabbed her stuff as she left the house and her mother behind. as she drove to the location of the movie series, she thought about the people she would have to see but not about what would happen. 

she showed up from behind the movie screen as it was the one place she could park and right as she got there, there was pope and jj being beaten by kelce, rafe and topper. she scoffed and she put her rings on her hand as she ran over and punched topper. 

he stumbled back and then he looked at her and scoffed 

"shocked to see you here" he told her 

"I'm not shocked to see the fact that you're still beating up people three on one" she told her and she felt someone grab her from behind 

"let me go" she told kelce and then came kiara with the bag as she pushed kelce and made him let her go. juliette and her made eye contact before they looked away and she looked at rafe who was attacking jj. 

she jumped on his back and he spun before she fell on the ground and groaned but there kiara was, lighting the screen on fire and taking the heat off of them. juliette felt grateful and she helped jj and pope up as rafe, topper and kelce ran off. 

"when the fuck did you get here?" jj asked 

"literally two seconds ago when this thing started. But luckily I was here and luckily Kiara was too." she spoke and she rubbed her knuckles again as she helped pope up and kiara helped jj up. 

"yeah youre lucky we were here" kiara told them. they walked off and away from the scene together as if nothing had changed but everything had. 

none of them even knew about sarah and what would kiara say? however that night she went home and she laid there, not knowing anything that was happening. 

she would help them though, that's what she did but how?
