3rd person pov
the next thing they knew, juliette hid the car and pulled over as pope grabbed the camera from the car and they climbed up onto the roof across from the building where ward and gavin were. juliette kneeled down next to kiara as they watched the scene in front of them and juliette didn't even notice that she was holding kiaras hand in fear but she was and kiara was letting her. pope kept telling them what was happening and juliette listened with the others until they heard a gunshot
"holy shit, did he just shoot him?" juliette asked and pope nodded as he stood up more and got more of the action. they watched the gun fall and then ward looked up and over at them
"i think we should go right now, pope you have enough right?" jj asked and pope nodded as they got up and ran off.
"hold on, he's coming out. i think he's looking for the gun" pope told them and they watched more
"hold this, what is wrong with you? murderer" kie yelled at ward and juliette yanked her back down and shook her head
"kie what the fuck? guys he sees us, we have to go right now. we have to go" juliette told them and they got up as they walked back down the stairs but pope went and then jj and then kie and then juliette. juliette could handle ward, she had done it before. she just didn't want to do it again and while they were going down, kiara stepped on jjs hand and he let go making it so he kicked pope in the face and pope fell to the ground as well with the camera. seeing this, juliette jumped down and she looked around for ward to make sure that he wasn't coming.
"no, no, no" pope said as he grabbed the camera and stared at it
"are you kidding me? you fumbled it?" jj asked pissed off
"you kicked me in the face"
"she stepped on my hand" jj fought
"i was trying to hurry" kiara said
"okay this isn't helping any of us, the footage is gone but the gun isn't and we have to go before he finds us, so lets go and come back when we find the gun and know where it is" she said and they nodded as they ran to the car and they got in
"can someone fill me in on what the frick just happened?" jj asked
"ward and gavin got in a fight over the gun and the money, ward attacked gavin, gavin fought back, ward shot him, gun fell over the ledge and into the drain, kiara called ward a murderer, he saw us, we ran but you kicked pope in the face and kiara stepped on your hand and so we lost the footage and now we're here" juliette stated and they all turned to her
