The Past:
You had set out a few years after your brother Raihan. You, like him, were a dragon tamer. However, you wanted to use a Sun team. There weren't many options for you, unfortunately, since Raihan had taken Sandstorm, Nessa would have rain, and Melony would have snow/hail. Since Kabu was close to retiring, you thought you might pick up the mantle of Sun team. After all, the region could use some sun.

And so, you set out. You already had a Turtonator that you've been with since birth. The two of you were inseparable. You only put Turtonator in a pokeball so it couldn't get randomly captured by another trainer. He was, after all, outside of his ball most of the time.

You knew getting a sun based team would be hard. Fire types weren't easy to come by, nor were Dragon types, or Pokémon that could naturally set up the sun. You were determined to go all the way, though.

You were expecting a fairly smooth gym challenge. Not only would you be training stronger Pokémon than almost everyone else, the leaders had some poor matchups. Nessa would be countered by any Grass you used. Opal would become a neutral battle thanks to Fire. Gordie would also be countered by Grass, and you just had to outspeed Raihan's Pokemon to win that.

You and Turtonator began your journey very smoothly. You went out into the Wild Area and began building up your team. Applin, Oddish, and Rolycoly started off your team well. Oddish would be your sun setter.

You might've only had 3 Pokemon so far, but you were still confident in fighting Milo. Applin and Oddish walled the guy. And so, you took on the first gym challenge, defeating Milo with less than ideal stalling strategies. Nessa would be different.

You made your way to Nessa, adding a Seedot and Vulpix to the team. You knew how you'd take down the model.

With the combination of Seedot and Applin, Nessa's team couldn't do much. Her only real answer was Drednaw's rock moves, but Drednaw himself was 4x weak. You swept her with Applin/Seedot(take your pick).

The next fight would be against Kabu, the Fire type gym leader. You knew Rolycoly, or Carkoal, would be your best Pokémon, with its quad resistance and quad effectiveness against Centiskorch.

You got to the gym and picked up another Vulpix, this one having Drought, which would be crucial to your team later. You sent your original Vulpix back home to your parents, they could use someone.

With Carkoal, the gym was a breeze. A hot breeze, but a breeze nonetheless. You, for some reason, decided to stick around after your match and watch some of the other gym challengers. That's when you saw her.

You didn't know who she was, but she was the future fighting type gym leader Bea, just younger. She still had her toned figure, and essentially gave you your lesbian awakening.

Your next gym fight was against (insert gym leader here). They used (insert type), and you used (insert Pokemon) to defeat them.

The next fight would be against someone who, somehow, wasn't retired, Opal, the Fairy type leader. With your Fire types, you had an inherent advantage against her, defensively, at least. Mawile would be a non-factor, and Togekiss would hopefully go down to a well placed Rock move, leaving her with only 2 Fairy types remaining against your Fire type walls. Like expected, the blazing heat of Carkoal was too much for her to handle, and you won the next gym badge.

After Opal would be Gordie, and the chance to finally bring your Grass types back into action. It's a true shame Grass is not a good offensive type. However, you thought this fight would be easy, and you were right.

You had Flapple, Shiftry, and Bellossom at this point, and the fight couldn't have been easier. You even got some experience using Sun against Sandstorm, thanks to Coalossal at the end.
