Chapter five

Jodi did pick me up and drop me off at Mitch's game.

"Hey Mitch" I yelled seeing him walking over to the field. He waited for me to catch up to him. I put my arm on his shoulder, he slowly put his arm around my waist and we walked together slightly.

"Hey y/n you actually came" he said surprised. I smiled. I kissed his cheek lightly again and smiled. He blushed.

"I told you I was gonna come," I said. He smiled a little and we got to the field, he turned to me slightly and smiled a little. He then walked to his team. I went and sat up on the side of the hill where I knew the guys would go if they were here.

I watched the game normally until I saw some of the guys show up.

Don, O'Bannion, Melvin, and Benny showed up. Don sat next to me while the other three stood at the rail. I sighed, noticing they had their paddles with them. Don noticed some girls after a while and went to talk to them so I went over to the other three boys.

They handed me a beer and I started sipping it, I didn't want too much alcohol just yet because I knew I was about to get shitfaced tonight.

Pink ended up showing up too.

I watched Mitch pitching and bit my lip slightly.

"Ohhh y/n has a little crush huh?" Benny asked. I shoved his arm lightly.

"Shut up Benny," I murmured, feeling my face heat up.

"Holy shit she does," Melvin said. I groaned and kept watching. Mitch looked over at us every so often nervously, I feel bad for him I really do.

The boys were being loud and stuff, Don had come back over to us.

I was ignoring what the boys were saying and decided to yell.

"Hey Kramer, you got this," I yelled. Mitch looked up at me with a bright red face which made me laugh. Tommy went over and spoke to Mitch then Carl did when Tommy left. I waited and watched as Carl got pushed away by Mitch.

"You got this Kramer, don't listen to these guys" I yelled. He nodded slightly and threw the ball, striking the other player out.

His team won the game. I was going to cheer but the guys perked up ready to paddle him.

Heyyy so I'm back, I have a couple chapters I'll probs post before I write more. Sorry I've been MIA again😭😭 school is stressing me out rn but I'll hopefully be able to keep writing this!!
