"COME FEEL THIS MAGIC IVE BEEN FEELING SINCE I MET YOU."

"MAY, I'LL GET IT." Andie heard Peter yell from outside of the door, then she heard the sounds of things falling and seemingly break.

Peter's apartment door was quickly opened by a woman who seemed to be in her early forties. 'Aunt May' Andie reminded herself, thinking back to how Peter had told her that he lived with his aunt.

Aunt May was holding Peter back as she opened the door, "Hi! You must be Andie, I've heard so much about you! Come on in, sweetheart." she smiled.

Andie politely, and quite awkwardly, smiled back. "And I'm assuming you're Aunt May!" she internally cringed at herself.

"That would be correct. Do you want anything, food, water?" Aunt May offered.

Andie shook her head. "No, thank you." she made eye contact with Peter, who shrugged and tightened his lips together. He was very clearly annoyed at May.

"May, I think we're just gonna go to my room and do the tutoring now." Peter lied, sighing. Andie almost made a slight face, she was confused. Why was Peter lying? Was he ashamed of her? Was Aunt May secretly very strict, she didn't look it? Was Andie a burden? She wasn't a fan.

Aunt May nodded skeptically. "Alright." she suspiciously said as she flopped down on the couch and turned on the TV.

Peter directed Andie to his bedroom, then closed the door behind him. His room was pretty small, it had a twin bed, a small desk beside his closest with a wooden chair, and a few small drawers here and there.

Randomly, and to both Andie's and Peter's shock, Andie quickly engulfed Peter into an embrace. She didn't know what was wrong with her! Before her incident, she hated hugs, even from the people closest to her. But now, she felt as if all she ever needed was a hug. She liked the feeling of being cared for, and hugs supplied that for her.

Andie dug her head into Peter's neck, some tears daring to fall. "I'm sorry. Sorry." she backed away, wiping her eyes. "I've had a hard day . . . and it's only fucking noon." she sat on the boys bed, he sat across from her at his desk.

"Do you — Do you wanna talk about it?" he offered.

Andie sighed, she also usually hated talking about her feelings. But as of right now, she wanted to scream it off the fucking rooftops. She wanted to scream. She wanted to yell 'Fuck him' from to skylines. "Yeah, actually. Okay — So, erm. Okay, so a while ago now, like a month or two ago maybe. I was on the subway and I walked off and an old guy put a gun to my side and told me if I fought him then he'd shoot me. But then Spider-man saved me, he saved my life. And — And now there's a court date. And I'm just so scared to see him again, you know? He's everywhere around me already, I don't know if I can handle actually seeing him in real life again." she wiped a stray tear away. "And I would tell my maman how I feel but I'm so scared she's going to turn into a fucking vegetable again, like how she was when papa died! And I texted Chey and Noor asking for them to come over but they ghosted me, like fuck them. And I'm like 90% sure they're hanging out without me right now, and I just can't —" she cut herself off, making a fake laugh. "I just can't!" she manically laughed with tears falling down her face.

Peter didn't know what to say, he sat there listening to her. "I'm so sorry, Andie, you didn't deserve that. And — And Cheyanne and Noor suck, no offence. You're always welcome to hangout with me and my friends," Andie looked at him in a deadpan look. She had been in this scenario before, none of them would actually want her there and it would be weird. "no, seriously! Trust me, we don't have many friends, we take what we can get." Peter defended, making Andie giggle throughout her silent sobs.

The two sat in almost complete silence, other than Andie sniffling and her playing with her jewelry. "I think I — I think I trust you more than anyone else."

Peter tilted his head, "I don't know if you should. Sometimes I feel like I subconsciously sabotage every relationship in my life." he laughed, trying to keep his almost depressingly sad comment light.

"Well I clearly have a tendency to like all the wrong people," she started, making Peter feel slightly offended about what she was about to say. "but you — you're different."

Peter looked at floor. "How do you know?" he awkwardly asked.

"Because I usually don't trust people easily, especially people who actually sabotage their relationship with people, but I trusted you immediately. I mean, I've told you things that I've never told anyone." she explained, her eyes rapidly blinking as a moment of realization dawned on her. She had told Peter things that she had never told anyone else. "For fucks sake, Chey and Noor still think my dad left." Andie sadly chuckled.

Andie and Peter sat for a moment, not talking but just staring into each other's eyes. It was a nice moment. "Let's make a pact." Peter offered. Andie nodded, agreeing. "We keep trusting each other, no matter what, and we never hurt each other."

Andie smiled. "Absolutely bet. Immediately that's a bet." she stuck out her hand to pinky promise.

Peter reciprocated the pinky promise, happily. Andie didn't know what had happened, but in the span of only two months Peter had became one of Andie's best friends, and Andie had became one of his.

And honestly, they both loved it.
