[A Fortunate Encounter] is the name of the next event that happens. It is when Angelina gets kidnapped; and Theo—another love interest—saves her.

Y/n is supposed to accompany Angelina to the palace; but in light of things, he is now incredibly icy to her—and he fortunately saves the trouble of attending the Emperor's meeting because of his injuries.

A week or more passes since then; and more or less, Y/n is healed. But now he grows increasingly desperate. How — how is it possible for him to stop the next event? The previous event already proves that no matter what happens, it is all for naught...

Or, he can simply replace Angelina in the scenario, like he replaces Angelina in the Arion route. The route with the Crown Prince is the only one he manages to stop. Is it because he replaces the female lead? Well, yes, that's the clear cut answer, evidently — but this is a different story. This is a kidnapping—and Y/n is reluctant to go through another share of pain after he is almost killed by a magical creature, and ambushed by bandits.

But it is either that or returning to his previous world, and death, so regrettably, Y/n chooses kidnapping in a jiffy.

He stops his pacing and looks out of the window, gazing at the distant horizon—he doesn't exactly know how he will pull this off; considering Arion, after two consecutive incidents, allows him to venture out again. But The Crown Prince is currently...busy. If Y/n just leaves him a note, it isn't too bad, right...?

The kidnapping takes place at the city square, and...

Oh.

It is this simple.

Y/n simply writes a note detailing how he is going to visit the city square; and if—when he does get kidnapped, instead of Theo, Arion is the one to rescue him. He just has to wait patiently till then. And the game says before; that Angelina "is thankfully unharmed." So likely he will be able to get out of this unscathed. Yes, maybe it's a silly thing to throw caution to the wind and simply ride along the tides of the story, but at this stage, that's all Y/n can do, right?

The initial root of his motivation is partially because of Angelina—because he doesn't want any harm to befall her. And now? It is utterly selfish. Angelina is in his way, and no one can deny that; but the truth is, Y/n —

He really shouldn't be holding a vendetta against her, who is clueless about the situation. Y/n knows he's being too harsh on her; too demanding of her when Angelina doesn't know what's going on, but...

He sighs.

The letter; Y/n needs to focus on it. How should he address Arion? In a light-hearted manner, a loving manner, or simply a formal one? Well... it has to be a little funny to ebb away the anger he will feel once Y/n is kidnapped. Y/n is considerably more cheerful now—though his mood is still dampened, overall. He refuses to talk to either Elliot, Angelina, or Iris.
