Wednesday's pov
The next day
I was getting dressed when I felt some contractions. I gasped and looked at Enid. "It's too early." Enid's eyes widened in concern as she hurried over to me. "Let's time them and call the doctor," she said, her voice steady despite the worry in her eyes. "We'll get through this together." I nodded. Enid helped me sit down as she fetched her phone to time the contractions. With each passing moment, her reassuring presence helped to calm my nerves, reminding me that no matter what challenges we faced, we would face them together as a family.
It was a successful delivery. I was now breastfeeding the baby. As I cradled our newborn in my arms, feeling the weight of their tiny body against mine, a wave of overwhelming love and gratitude washed over me. With each gentle suckle at my breast, our bond grew stronger, filling me with a sense of awe and wonder at the miracle of new life. Beside me, Enid looked on with a tender smile, her eyes shining with pride and love for our growing family.
After a couple hours, I was playing with Eli and Willow while Luna, the newborn baby was sleeping. As Eli and Willow giggled and played, their joyous laughter filling the room, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and laughter they brought into our lives. With Luna peacefully sleeping nearby, our home was alive with the sounds of family and happiness, reminding me of the precious moments that made parenthood so rewarding.
