Wednesday's pov
Five months later
I was now taking care of the five month old baby. I was waiting for Enid to get home from work. Willow and Eli were hiding around the house somewhere. As I sat with Luna in my arms, gently rocking her back and forth, I couldn't help but smile at the thought of Enid's impending return home. With Willow and Eli off on one of their mischievous adventures, the house felt strangely quiet, but the anticipation of being reunited with our entire family filled me with warmth and excitement.
I then heard the door open. I saw Enid and walked over to her. Eli and Willow then appeared and ran to Enid. I giggled. Enid's face lit up with joy as she saw Eli and Willow running towards her, their excitement palpable. With Luna still cradled in my arms, I joined them, enveloping Enid in a warm embrace as our family reunited once again. Laughing together, we shared stories of our day, grateful for the love and happiness that filled our home.
After a couple hours, we were getting ready for bed. I was getting Luna dressed for bed while she cooed, babbled and squealed. I smiled. As Luna babbled and cooed, her infectious laughter filling the room, I couldn't help but feel a surge of love and happiness wash over me. With each tiny giggle and squeal, she reminded me of the joy that comes from being a parent, filling my heart with warmth and gratitude for the precious moments we shared together as a family. I then lifted her up and went to her nursery to find her two older siblings standing by her crib, waiting. Seeing Eli and Willow standing by Luna's crib, their faces filled with excitement and anticipation, filled me with a sense of pride and love for our growing family. With Luna cradled in my arms, I gently lowered her into her crib, watching as Eli and Willow leaned in to give her gentle kisses and whispers of goodnight. As I tucked them all in, surrounded by the love and warmth of our family, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the precious moments we shared together each day.
