I was exhausted, but I had a few more patients left, so I had to put them first. But soon enough, I'll be in my bed, alone, SLEEPING. I love my team and my patients but dear lord do they tire me...
Once I had finished with my last patient, I walked to my pod, letting out a sleepy yawn as my small body then flopped onto my bed, almost instantly falling asleep.
But.....then...the nightmares came....
My dad...Hugo...oh god it was awful...I hadn't even noticed I was crying in my sleep until my pod door had opened, causing me to shoot up, oh thank god it was just Kwazii...
"Mm....Kwazii...?" I muttered and yawned, wiping away my tears as he approached me silently with his arms out, a silent request for me to hug him..which I gladly did...
"Sorry if I woke you." I yawned, but Kwazii just shushed me and yawned as well....
Before either of us knew it, we were cuddled together in my bed and dead asleep....
Oh how I've missed this.....
