Chapter Four

Parker

"Feel better." "I feel fucking stupid." "Why?" "Because I know that when we leave this closet you're gonna friend zone the hell out of me." I check the time on my watch.  " I gotta go." "Already?" "Sorry, I'll text you I swear." I pick up my belt and fasten it. I fix my hair and tie before exiting cautiously. I start to speed walk down the hallway. I felt like an asshole for leaving her there but  I couldn't afford to ruin my family's reputation. I walk back into the classroom. "Where'd the bitch run off to this time?" ,Josh asks. "Shut the hell up idiot. There's no need to keep picking on her." "Sorry." The bell  rang and students slowly filed out of the classroom. I hold Gen's backpack in my arms and make my way back to the janitor's closet. When I open the door she's still there. She was crying. I walk in and close the door.  "What's the problem snowflake?" "Really?" "Yes?" "I'm just confused. I know that I'm better than this." "Baby it don't get much better than Parker.", I say referring to myself in the third person. "I mean I've come too far to be having pity sex in the janitor's closet with a sexy vampire boy that's best friends with my ex boyfriend." "If it makes you feel better, it was bomb ass pity sex." "Stop it." "Come here," I say pulling her into my lap. "It's all good. If anybody tries to mess with you I'll mess 'em up." "Okay. " "Alright. I gotta get to lunch. " "See you ." "Yeah." I get the hell out of that closet. Did I feel like a dick? Hell yeah. Did I have any regrets about fucking a girls sadness away? Fuck no. Call me heartless but I'm just doing what I do best.

Genevieve

Despite Parker's words, I felt like a cheap whore. I seemed to find myself feeling this way  lot before I came to Glendale. I stand up and grab my backpack. I take a deep breath and open the door. I keep my eyes to the ground. I. could feel eyes burning holes through me; judging me. I heard a couple of Alice's friends whispering. "Parker just came out of there." "Does her hair look frizzy to you?" "Totally. Like post fucking frizzy."  "No way he wouldn't cheat on Alice with that insecure bitch." "True." I keep walking. This week was not going to be easy for me.

*One week later*

Tony

"I think it's time." "For what?", Harmony asks. " Epic juice box break!" We turn to the cooler between us and grab a juice box. "Flavor go!",I yell. "Fruit Punch!" "Grape!" We stab our straws in. " Ready set chug!" We gulp down the drinks. I slam my empty juice box on the lawn before plopping down on it. Harmony slams her's too and lays down next to me. "I'm way too quick at juice box drinking." "Yeah. Look Tony, stop beating around the bush. Genevieve. You guys are totally into each other." " She's too good for me, you know that." "Tony, you're fit and Italian. Are you a little lame? Yes, but so is Gen." "Right." "I say you talk to her." " Fine." I stand up. "I'm going to talk to her." "Good. Now get your Italian ass out of the courtyard Josh is coming to see me." "He is a fucking douche." "He's just cocky too cocky. I'll talk to him about it." "Sure you will." "Go on." I make my way towards the girls dorms. When I get to Genevieve's door I knock  little too hard. Emily, one of her roommates answers the door. "Hello supernerd. I don't recall you being attached to all this man candy." Gen pulls her out of the doorway. "Shut up Emmy." "Thanks, I've never been called man candy before." "Shut up.What are you doing here?" "I just wanted to ask you if you'd be interested in joining me in a relationship. People have been saying we're soulmates and I really like you so I would really like it if you considered my offer. " "Yes." "What?" "I said yes you freaking weird ass." "So we're together?" "Yup." "Official?" "Yes. " "Okay." "Okay." " I have to go now. But I will see you at my dorm at 4?" "Yes you will." " Cool. Later girlfriend."

"Bye Tony." She closed the door and I started running full speed towards the boys dorms.
