Leo lunged at me. I duck. Carmello was right behind me, shielding me . The Academy was crumbling. I feel a hand on my shoulder. It was Parker. He pulled me too the side of the crumbling building, away from all the fighting. "Harmony, I found the portal." "What?" "It's west of the Zen Garden."  "Well, let's go!" "No, Harmony, It's not that simple. I have to stay here. You aren't a Vampire, there's no way you'll make it out of here alive." "No, I'm not leaving you." Parker rubs the back of his neck. He looks around. That's what he does when he's nervous. Or mad. "Char, don't be difficult." (Harmony Charlotte Peters). "I don't understand Parker. Why can't you come?" "Harmony, that portal is only opening twice tonight each time there will only be enough space for 1 person." "So If there are two portals, why won't you come?" " I have to stay and fight." "Why?" "Look, Harmony, I love you but I can't just leave." "Well do you expect me to go through the portal alone?" "No." I look up and see Joshua jump through a second floor window with two duffel bags and two backpacks. "Sup idiots?" "Ugh, what are you doing here?", I say. "Josh, Not the time for jokes.", Parker says. "Parker why is he here?" He sighs and looks down at his feet. "na-uh, no,no,no,no,no,oh god no! Parker are serious?" "That's right sweetcheeks, I'm your escort.",Josh says shoving a backpack into my arms and dropping the duffel bag by my feet. Parker comes to me and hugs me. I take in his scent. He always smelled like strawberries. I kiss him one last time. "Umm, I'd hate to break up this romantic get together but we all got somewhere to be. Portals don't stay open forever." I pull away and look at him. Parker takes his phone out of his pocket. "Here, take it. You know the  password. All of our memoriesare in there, I kinda, I kinda thought you'd want them. I can get another phone." "Aww,babe that is so sweet of you to..." Josh clears his throat. "Again, don't mean to  interrupt but chop chop." I turn around reluctantly and walk towards Josh. I turn around one last time. "I LOVE YOU!!!!" I yell to Parker. "I LOVE YOU TOO!!!!" Then I turn around and run with Josh. The portals were right in front of us and the battle was far behind. Or so we thought. Josh stopped. "Harmony, whatever happens to me in this moment I need you to run through the portal." He shifted into a wolf before I could object. before long another wolf came out of the thicket. So Josh Shifted into a Lion. I ran and just as I fell through the portal, I blacked out.
