**Ghost's POV**

God she was beautiful, even in the state she was in. The amount of emotions that were coursing through my veins was enough to make a normal person not want to be here anymore. Her chest heaved up and down as her faced scrunched with each contraction. Sweat beaded on her forehead and rolled down her cheeks and neck, absorbing into the fabric of her shirt. She squeezed one of my hands and also Soaps. I always knew she was strong, but damn if it didn't feel like I would need a cast after this was all said and done.

Price drove as fast and carefully as he could. With each turn and bump, Harley would yell out and tense up as much as she could. Soap kept dabbing her forehead with a now damp cloth to try and keep her cool and keep the sweat out of her eyes. I couldn't help but stare and take in the sight before me. Her. The one person I never thought I would be in love with was now about to bring our child into this world.

The SUV came to a sudden stop as Price threw the gear shift into park. The suddenness caused Harley to yelled out and before I even had a chance to lift the latch for us to get out, Price had already beat me to it. Nurses and doctors ran out with a wheelchair and IVs as fast as they could to prepare for our child's birth. Soap and I helped Harley into the wheelchair as worry started to creep up my spine. She was pale. Soap and I locked eyes and then ours diverted to the doctors and nurses – theirs were saying the same thing. Worry.

My stomach turned as nausea overcame me with the overglazed look in Harleys eyes.

"Harley?" I say to her softly right before the nurses unlocked the wheels and rushed her inside the base. She never answered as her breathing was now calm. "What's wrong with her?!" I yell out; overwhelmed with my emotions.

Silence.

That's when I knew. Something wasn't quite right. Why were they rushing her so fast? Why wasn't she laboring her breathing anymore? Why was her skin so pale and clammy? WHY?!

I followed quickly behind the medical staff and dared anyone to tell me I had to wait outside, or I couldn't be around her. Either they fix the goddamn problem or I make them fix what's wrong with her. Either choice, I was okay with.

"Can someone please tell me what the fuck is going on?!" I yell out. The nurse pushing Harley picked up her pace and the nurse directly behind her stopped and turned around to face me.

"We don't know," she starts. Before I could open my mouth, she speaks before I could, "All I can say is we will do our very best."

She turns to walk away but stopped suddenly when I grip her upper arm and jerk her back to where she can face me. Her face growing paler by the second, "If she dies or if our baby dies, anyone that tried to help, will suffer the same." I release the nurse and she stumbled back shakily. I waste no time and walk past her, brushing my shoulder against her purposely.

"Simon!" Price yells. I didn't turn around. I cant turn around. "We'll be right here son!" As much as I wanted to tell him how much I appreciate it, they need me more. I know Price will be there for Soap and when its all said and done, we can go back to living our life...I hope.

I finally catch up with the nurses and doctors and they roll her into a large operating room. I look around confused with their stations already set up.

"Dad were going to need you to wait outside," the nurse that is pushing Harley says with her back turned towards me.

"I'm not fucking leaving," I spit back.
