Tell me lies.

Lies, tell me lies
'It is not the truth if I am not convinced'
I learned this the hard way
Judged, misunderstood
Presenting my case, yet getting called out for lack of evidence.

Said i am a liar
Consequences and penalties
A shoe being thrown my way
Tears streaming down my face
I have nothing left to say

Lies, tell me Lies
Hands holding my knees
"I am telling the truth"
I chant again and again
'It is not the truth if they are not convinced'
No lawyer could defend this criminal
Wrongfully accused.

So I just accept the punishment
And carry the scar
A sorrowful letter
To my future self:
Please get evidence or next time ... call for help
