The sound of jisungs loud gulp was loud enough to be heard on Minhos side of the line.

"Hyung I don't think I can do this." Jisungs heavy breathing echos through the phone that was tightly clutched in his shaking hand. His head was tilted up as he scanned and studied the new school he was entering. The height of the ceilings, the smell of books, the luxurious architecture, taking it all in.

The boys stress felt even heavier than his backpack as he navigates the crowds of students that walked around him, even his own thoughts couldn't escape the overwhelming environment.

Everything about today was just overwhelming for jisung. From moment he woke up from his blaring alarm, his heart hadn't stopped thumping. The brightness of the sun today had compromised his already horrendous eyesight, the Uber this morning was almost late, his stomach was grumbling from the lack of breakfast, and now. Now he had to take a step inside, finally.

"Sungie." Minhos voice fills his ears, "You're okay, I'm coming to get you alright?" The olders smile could almost be heard in his voice, his own phone pressed against his ear.

In contrast, minho was utterly over the moon. The sun was out, warming his skin and reflecting his bright mood. He was even early to school, his stomach was well fed and now he was finally going to see his best friend. The best friend who will now be attending the same university as him.

Possibly a perfect day?

The older was practically skipping down the halls toward the main enterance. This was the moment he had been waiting for, he could finally show jisung around the school. They could spend every day together, just like how it was in highschool. The good ol days.

"Hyung I'm walking in- I-I dont know if- just come quick." Jisungs voice was shaky, his eyes were rapidly scanning the college now. It felt like each face that walked by was staring him down. The young boy tightly grips his backpack straps and drags his feet along as he walks further into the school.

Once jisung gets to the middle of the main enterance, he stands on his tippy toes, hoping to look over some people and spot his best friend skipping toward him.

As he tries to stand taller, even making an effort to jump in hopes of looking over the crowd, his shoulder accidentally brushes another student's. The world suddenly becomes dizzy as jisungs shaky legs lose their balance.

A thud echoes the moment he comes in contact with the floor, his phone, and his current contact with Minho, goes sliding across the floor, about to be trampled by the rush of students.

"Shit-" Jisung blinks hard, without anytime to recover from the fall, he reaches his hand out for the phone next to him. He wanted to get it back before the worst could happen, even though he himself was still on the floor. Jisung groans as he tries to extend his sore body further, his fingers slight brushing against the side of the phone. He was risking getting his hand trampled on, but he was not going to let his 1000 dollar phone go down like this. Just a little bit closer and...

His struggle was suddenly interrupted by someone grabbing the device first. His phone was suddenly lifted up into the air infront of him, causing jisungs eyes to trail it up to a handsome man standing above him.

"Oh shit I'm so sorry about that." The handsome boys speaks up, his face filled with genuine concern. He reaches out his free hand toward the still-on-the-floor jisung.

The youngers stares at the hand for a moment before hesitantly taking a hold of it and letting the boy help pull him up. His vision still a bit dizzy from the sudden event.

"I should've been more careful where I was walking." The handsome boys smile was even handsomer up close, "Are you okay?"

Jisung opens his mouth but no words come out, especially when he looks down at his hand and realize it's still locked with the handsome boy's.

He notices jisungs train of thought and smiles again as he places a hand on his shoulder, "I'm Baekho. Are you a freshmen this year?"

Jisung shakes his flusteredness away, sending Baekho a smile in return, "Y-yeah. I'm jisung."

Baekho looks down at his hands for moment before reaching out one, "I think you dropped this." He chuckles with jisungs phone in his palm. Jisungs eyes suddenly light up as he almost forgot the mission at hand.

Jisung lets out a small laugh, "I think I did huh?" He slowly takes it from the boy and looks at him with more confidence then he had started with, "You must be older hm?"

"Ouch does it look that way?" Baekho clutches his heart dramatically, earning a small giggle from jisung.

"Take it as a compliment, trust me." He smirks at Baekho. They were awfully close and their eye contact seemed intense, but Jisung didn't look away. That is until his new found confidence was interrupted by a sudden gasp from Baekho.

"Shit you're bleeding Jisung."

Jisungs eyes trail down to where Baekho was looking, a small cut had began to leak blood at his elbow. He hadn't even felt it in the fall.

The older quickly pulled on Jisungs hand, the one he had been holding since the beginning of their conversation, and leads a stumbling jisung to a bench near them. Baekho quickly sits the younger down and takes his elbow into his hands.

"This was not the ideal way to meet someone right?" Jisung laughs a bit as Baekho scrambles to look through his bag, eventually finding a bandaid.

The older shines a nervous smile as he scrambles to open the bandaid, "I'd like to applogize on that behalf. I didn't know I'd be running into a cute boy on the first day?"

Jisung could feel the blush creeping up his cheeks as baekho holds onto his arm and carefully places a bandaid onto the injury.

Once the bandaid was smooth, baekho looks up with a smile. "Maybe it was fate that brought us together?"

If you strained your hearing, you could faintly make out the sound of a worried Minhos voice coming from jisungs phone, "Sung? You there-"

But Jisungs phone was long forgotten, sitting on the bench beside him while the call continued. A once skipping Minho comes to his stop when he reaches the main entrance.

The boy who was once excited to see his best friend join his school, to see the person he felt like was his other half. Lee minho slowly brings the phone down from his ear, hanging it up as he spots a smiling jisung on the bench.

His arm was being held by another boy, the two of them laughing together, sparks almost visibly flying between them.

As he watched the scene, a sad smile found itself on Minhos face.

"I told you you'd find someone."
