Chapter 14 - Talk that talk

Han Jisung

"Been feeling better?"

"Define better." I sigh, leaning my head back on my chair, "I haven't talked to him since. He hasn't texted me or anything- he hates me for sure." I blurt out, groaning at my own words.

"Jisung-ah." Felix gives me a sad look, "Don't keep worrying about him right? College boyfriends come and go!" He tries to send a convincing smile.

"He's my soulmate though." I tilt my head at Felix, as if he was speaking nonsense.

I could tell the atmosphere thickened at the one.

Felix quickly sits back, a wavering smile on his face. "Actually, uhm let's order something!" He adds, obviously changing the subject.

I wasn't a kid. I don't need everyone hopping around me like they're scared to hurt my feelings.

I look back at the smiling boy across from me, his nose buried into the menu of the restaurant we were seated in. I know Felix never has bad intentions when he talks, he's too sweet.

But I wish I wasn't so pitied by everyone though.

Everything's going to be fine, just like Minho hyung said. I don't need to be asked if I'm okay over and over again.

One day, Baekhos going to come to his senses and we'll live happily ever after. He's just going through a rough patch, and I'm supposed to support him as his boyfriend. I can fix him, right?

Just need a break from him, that's all.

A small break.

"I've heard the steak here is to die for." Felix's voice brings me back to reality, his eyes still scanning the menu. "People in school always talk about it."

"Mm really?" I send my twin a smile.

"Sera was posting about it like 3 days ago." Felix puts his menu down, clearly ready to share some tea. "Did you know that Sera ranked literally dead last at her highschool!?"

My eyes widen, my mind completely shifted to putting my full attention to this surely bonkers story, "LAST? How did she get into our college?"

Felix leans in closer, visibly excited, "Apparently she won the fucking lottery."

"no fucking way."

"YES FUCKING WAY!" Felix exclaims, throwing his hands in the air, "She won millions broooo, and so she basically paid her way in."

"What the hell?! I should've bought lotto tickets instead of studying for entersnce exams!" I sigh, burying my face in my arms.

Felix giggles, "You know damn well you would never buy a lotto ticket."

"You right that shits a scam-"

"OH MY GOD YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE I FOUND OUT?" Felix interrupts me, his eyes going wide as he practically bounces in his seat in excitement.

"Obviously I don't-"

"SERAS SISTER IS LIM SAEYEON!"

"THE FUCKING PROFESSOR?"

"YES BITCHHH."

"NO WAYYY BROO. She didn't get the smart genes I guess."

"Now thats foul jisungie."

At the thought, both of us burst into giggles. Despite the fact this was some what of a respected establishment and the two of us were giggling our asses off over some random ass person, my mind had successfully been taken off of my situation with my boyfriend.
