Lee Minho

"Pick up the pace old man!" Jisung rolls his eyes as he stops a few steps ahead of me, "I'll have you know I don't exactly have all day?"

A small chuckle leaves my lips when I reach Jisungs side, "You gotta walk at my pace, these legs don't work the same anymore." I say in a sarcastically old man voice, earning giggle out of jisung.

I had taken it upon myself to walk the younger to lunch with a few of our friends. Even though I wouldn't join him as I still had classes, I always made sure jisung was with someone.

Maybe it was the protective best friend in me.

And I did have some time until class, at this point I would use any excuse to spend more time with my best friend.

I didn't get much of it these days.

Eventually the two of us match paces as we walk down the college halls. It's strange to think how far the two of us had come, now we were walking through this school like it was our second home.

I smile and turn to jisung when I suddenly remember what I was going to say, "Hey Sungie?"

The younger hums in response. His cheeks were puffed and full of air as he playfully looked around at the posters and murals on the walls. It was always a cute habit of his.

"You down to go over to Chan and Changbins tomorrow? Everyone's coming and... It's been a while since we all got together." I gently introduce the idea to Jisung who just continued to let his eyes drift around with another hum.

"I have a date. With Baekho."

A date?

Of course. That's always his excuse. I let out a small sigh as the glimmer of hope I had in me had been diminished. I really only wanted to go to hangout with Jisung and everyone, but it's not the same when our group is missing the young boy.

It's never the same without him.

"C-can't you two just go out another day?" I ask quietly, testing to see if maybe this would trigger something in jisung.

The younger finally stops looking around and lays his eyes on me, "I already agreed hyung. I wouldn't do that to Baekho hyung."

"Yeah." I sigh, knowing there wasn't much else I could do. If only the boy knew how much we missed him. Our group always felt empty without the younger.

I look down at my feet, my excitement for tommorow had turned to disappointment. Just then, jisung clings onto my arm, a wide smile spreading across his face, "What should I wear to the date Minho hyung!?" He asks in a playfully happy tone.

"Uh." My frown shallows out as the two of us walk arm in arm, "Maybe that blue shirt your mom got you?"

"Ew hyung." Jisung pulls away from me and places his arms on his hips, "You really have the style of an old man too."

"Hey your mom was being nice and got you a shirt! You should wear it!"

"Exactly! That shirt gives 50 year old vibes."

I roll my eyes as jisung giggles. The smile on his face made me feel a little bit less down. Maybe jisung would hang out with us next time? I shouldn't be jealous.

I shouldn't be.

Jisung ponders to himself, "maybe those new pants I got-"

Jisung was suddenly interrupted by a group of loud girls we were walking past. Our attention shifts to them as one stood in the middle of their group with her hands pressed together.
