Author's POV Aanya's Home-:
As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, painting golden streaks across the polished wooden floor, Aanya stirred in her sleep, her eyelids fluttering slightly. In the soft embrace of morning, she felt a sense of calm wash over her, unaware of the surprises that awaited her on this seemingly ordinary day. It was Sunday morning, a rare occasion when Aanya allowed herself the luxury of sleeping in, uninterrupted by the demands of daily life.
For weeks, she had been engulfed in a whirlwind of responsibilities and commitments, leaving little time for rest and relaxation. But today was different. Today, she had decided to indulge in the simple pleasure of a lazy Sunday morning, a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the outside world.
The room was bathed in a gentle warmth, the sunlight casting a soft, inviting glow that danced playfully on the walls. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation, as if the world itself held its breath, waiting for the day to unfold its secrets.
With a soft sigh, Aanya slowly began to wake from her slumber, her senses gradually coming alive to the sights and sounds of the morning. She stretched lazily, feeling the comfort of her cozy bed enveloping her like a warm embrace.
But the lure of sleep was strong, and Aanya found herself sinking back into the soft embrace of her bed, succumbing to the temptation of just a few more minutes of rest.
"AANYAAAAA, wake up! It's already 11. How much longer do you plan on sleeping?" Her mother's voice echoed as she entered the room
Aanya groaned softly, reluctantly rousing herself from the depths of her slumber. With a sleepy sigh, she pushed herself upright, her limbs feeling heavy with the weight of exhaustion. Rubbing her eyes, she glanced at the clock on her bedside table.
"Mom, it's only 10." She said .
Her mother raised an eyebrow. "So, what? Are you planning to sleep for another hour?"
"Just five more minutes," Aanya pleaded, her eyes still half-closed.
"No five minutes. Get up now, or you won't get breakfast. Just telling I'm making aaloo ke parathe," her mother replied. "Now, you decide." saying that her mother left.
On hearing what her mother is making she couldn't resist and quickly got up. She swung her legs out of bed and stretched, feeling the stiffness of sleep slowly dissipating from her muscles. She then dragged herself towards the bathroom and as she splashed cold water on her face, the fog of sleep gradually lifted, and she felt more awake.
After freshening up, Aanya made her way downstairs to the kitchen where her mother was busy preparing breakfast. The aroma of masala chai and parathas filled the air. She hummed an old Bollywood tune, her heart lighter than usual.
"Good morning, Maa," Aanya greeted, her voice filled with excitement. "Those parathas smell amazing!"
"11 baje ho rahi hai aapki subah" her mother said.
"I know, Maa. But Sundays are the only days I get to sleep in," she replied.
"Chalo it's fine, ab jaldi se table lagao. Breakfast is almost ready," she said, returning to her cooking with a warm smile.
Aanya nodded and went out to set the table. After few minutes the other members came and settled themselves and soon her mother too came and sat on the chair.
"Ahh, yes, Aanya, I forgot to tell you," her mother began, her tone casual yet tinged with a hint of mystery. "Aarav's family is coming over for lunch today, so don't make any other plans."
Aanya's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "Why are they coming? Is there a special occasion?"
"You'll find out soon enough," her mother replied with a cryptic smile, leaving Aanya to ponder over the unexpected visit. With a shrug of acceptance, Aanya nodded, deciding to trust that all would be revealed in due time.
Once they had finished their meal, she joined her mother in clearing the table and tidying up the kitchen.
"You go and clean up your room now. Maya aunty will take care of this," her mother said, gesturing towards the househelp.
"Alright, Maa," Aanya agreed, heading towards her room.
As she entered her room, Aanya couldn't shake off the curiosity about Aarav's family's visit. She wondered what could be the reason behind their sudden plan to visit. Was it something important? Or just a casual visit?
Lost in her thoughts, she began to cleaning up her room, folding clothes and arranging her belongings. She neatly arranged her books on the shelf and after she was done cleaning her room she decided to take a refreshing shower. She gathered her clothes and headed to the bathroom. Turning on the faucet, she let the warm water cascade down her body, washing away the weariness of the morning. The gentle splashing of water was soothing, and she took her time, enjoying the tranquility of the moment.

Aarav, on the other hand, was blissfully unaware. He sat in his room, engrossed in his latest project. He had gotten up early went for a walk and was done with the shower. Despite being sunday he was working as it was an important project.
He was interrupted by the knock at the door. "Bhai, breakfast is ready," she called out.
" I'll be there in a minute," he replied, quickly saving his progress before closing the lid of his laptop. He then made his way to the dining area, where his family had already gathered. The tantalizing aroma of freshly cooked food greeted him as he settled into his seat, his mind still lingering on the details of his project.
As he savored each bite of breakfast, the conversation around the table flowed effortlessly, with his family discussing various topics ranging from mundane everyday occurrences to plans for the upcoming week.
After finishing his meal, he excused himself from the table, intending to return to his room and resume his work. However, before he could make his way back, his mother called out to him.
"Aarav we have to go to Aanya's place today" she said.
Surprised by his mother's announcement, Aarav paused mid-step, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion. "To Aanya's place? Why?"
His mother smiled knowingly. "You'll get to know. Now go get ready; we don't want to be late." With a nod, he turned on his heel and headed back to his room, his mind buzzing with questions about the unexpected visit to Aanya's place.
