It has been a week since my parents anniversary. I am bored with my monotonous routine and i just want to take a break. So i have decided to visit the Kauthig event held every year in NCR region for 5 days. This year, I am extra exited as some of my favorite singers are gonna come. Ahhhh, I am so happy. Inder arya will also come and his song Gulabi Sharara is my current favourite.
Kauthig is a cultural festival celebrated in the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It is characterized by traditional dance, music, and various cultural performances. The festival usually showcases the rich heritage of the Kumaoni culture and is a significant event for the local communities. It is the common culture which binds the communities of Kumaon and Garhwal region of Uttarakhand. The fair displayed culture of Uttarakhand. From traditional cuisines to ethnic dresses, it assembled Pahadi culture at most of the stalls. Traders from far flung regions of Uttarakhand came to sell their organic items at the fair.
The original uttrayani kauthig is held every year in January in my hometown i.e, Bageshwar. It is also known as Ghughutia, which celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Uttarakhand. The festival is celebrated on the same day as Makar Sankranti, with people taking a dip in holy waters, serving khichdi and exchanging sweets. On this day, the sun starts its journey northward and moves from the zodiac sign of Cancer to Capricorn. The movement of sun into a new sign marks a change in season. On this day, we make sweetmeats in various shapes, which are then worn as a necklace to attract birds, while singing Kale Kauva.
It is held in my hometown still in my whole life, I have never attended the mela. So every year i just visit the kauthig held in noida in december. It is in a week. I asked my family members but they do not want to come so i asked my best friend Ishaan and he said yes. I thought to ask anika too.

She decide to message Anika if she wants to join them.
Aanya: Hey You free?
She didn't get the reply immediately. After 10 minutes, Anika replied.
Anika: Yes what is it
Aanya: We were thinking of visiting the kauthig held in Noida. You want to join?
Anika: Yes yes neki aur puch puch. I always wanted to visit but my family is always busy they neither ever take me nor allow me to go alone. I am so excited. When will we go?
Aanya: Next saturday or sunday you can ask your brother too if he wants to join he too can
Anika: I dont think he will join. he doesn't like socializing but still i'll ask. Who all are coming?
Aanya: Just my friend Ishaan.
Anika: Okay

Its saturday today and they'll go to kauthig tomorrow. Anya just came back from her office when she got a call from Anika.
"Hi Aanya"
"Hi"
"Are you free?"
"Yes what is it?"
"Bhai is also coming with us. We'll bring our car and pick you up and your friend too. We plan to depart from our place around 11. Does that work for you?"
"Yeah yeah that's perfect. See you tomorrow"
"Yes bye bye good night"
"Bye"
After Aanya ended the call, she messaged Ishaan about the plan and that he should reach her place by 11.

Next morning, Ishaan arrived at 10 and had breakfast with them. After having the breakfast aanya got ready and decided to post a picture on her instagram.

After she was done she came down and in 5 minutes she got a call from Anika that they are waiting for them outside her house.
"They are here. Let's go Ishaan."
"Ghar time pr aa jana." She heard her mother.
"Come home on time"
"Yes mom I will. Bye bye"
When they came out they saw Aarav and Anika standing outside the car waiting for them.

Aanya's gaze fell on aarav as she realised that they both wete unintentionally twinning, and if someone unfamiliar saw them, they would certainly mistake them for a couple.
"Hi Aarav hi Anika meet my friend Ishaan"
"Hi" Aarav said.
"I want to talk to you Aanya can you come for a second."
"Yeah sure what happened"
"Aanya is he Ishaan"
"Yes why?"
"Like the Ishaan malhotra"
"He is just ishaan not any famous celebrity but what happened"
"Like he isn't that ishaan malhotra founder of Flutterfy"
"He is that Ishaan only but please tell me why are you asking all this"
"Girl why didn't you tell me that he is your friend. You know he is the reason why i decided to do my graduation in computer science. He once came to our school for career counseling session and gave a speech. His words left a lasting impression on me that motivated me to choose computer science for my undergraduate studies. As fate would have it, I ended up in the same college as him. When I was in my first year, he was in his final year. He's my role model."
"Okay, I didn't know this. You were in my college only."
"You got just this."
"Okay, okay. But still, isn't this good that you got to meet your role model."
"Yeah, I am happy but you should have told me; I should have dressed properly."
"Don't worry; you are looking good. Now let's go."
