"Daphne!" A touch on my shoulder snapped me back to reality. Napatanggal ako sa pagngatngat sa kuko na ngayon ay hindi ko napansin na dumudugo na dahil napudpod na.

Cedric's serious face greeted me. He, who's the only one who knows me well, is the only one who has the guts to approach me when I'm like this.

I was just about to open my mouth when he preceded me. "No, we can't kill them."

My eyes lost their light. "Can you hear yourself, Ced?" My sweet voice that the readers loved, so as the other characters who adore me, couldn't be heard. My voice is deep, husky. 

Hindi nagpatinag si Ced sa sinabi ko. "Sino sa tingin mo ang masisisi, Daph? Mag-isip ka," giit niya.

Hindi ako nakasagot at napaismid sa sinabi niya. I felt a warm feeling inside my body, my bleeding finger then lightened up, slowly healing. "You're the prince, I'm the priestess. Anong silbi ng mga titulo natin kung wala tayong magagawa sa sitwasyon na 'to?"

Mariin kong hinablot ang kwelyo ng kaharap ko. "We must take sis Sera back. We can't leave her alone in their duchy."

"Hey, calm down. You wouldn't want the readers to see that side of yours," pagsali ng kung sino sa usapan. Lumuwag ang pagkakahawak ko sa kwelyo ni Cedric at napalingon ako sa pwesto niya.

I gave my common expression, hate and disgust. 

"What the fuck are you talking about, Wren?" walang ganang ani ko. Nakatingin sa lalaking kasama namin sa silid at seryoso kaming tinitignan. "The system is broken. There are no charms nor favors anymore."
