I heaved a sigh. Nagsalin ako ng tsaa sa tasa. Naiwan ako sa space, kasama si Wren. Kade escorted that guy to his room. Daphne and Aeryn went with ate Sera . . . so I'm left with another idiot.

"Hmmm, what was his name again? Ashe?" Boses ni Wren ang nakisali sa isip ko. Prente siyang nakaupo sa sa sofa, nakaangat ang dalawang paa sa lamesa.

I took a sip. "I don't know and I don't care. Why would I remember the name of someone who won't be here for long?"

Wren answered me with a laugh. "Ang seryoso mo naman. Still, he will be here for quite some time. There's nothing wrong knowing him a little, right?"

I shook my head, choosing not to answer.

"Oh well, Kade will hate this new character," he added, laughing.

"At least he's mature enough to know how to act," sagot ko. I sat on the chair in front of him, holding my tea. "Unlike some priestess I know."

Mas lalong lumakas ang tawa ni Wren sa sinabi ko. "Yeah, she's funny. How about you though? Are you okay? Unlike Kade, this one is making moves."

I was about to sip again when his question made me stop. Kumunot ang noo ko at umangat ang tingin ko sa kaniya. "What do you mean?"

"I mean, this character has a thing with ate Sera, you know? Aren't you threatened?"

Tumalim ang tingin ko sa kaniya. "I don't see her that way. She's like a sister to me."

Wren scoffed. Ang dalawang kamay niya ay nakalantad sa magkabilang dulo ng sandalan ng upuan

"A sister? Really?" I don't like the tone of his voice.

"Yes. We grew up together."

"Not as siblings. What? Kapatid din ba ang tingin mo sa 'kin? Sa 'min? Kay Daphne?"

I sighed, taking a sip. "I see Daphne as an annoying woman. You're an annoying man."

The more he laughs, the more it's making me pissed for some reason.

"You're just saying that because it's ate Sera who sees you as a younger brother. Sees us. That's why I gave up that idea a long time ago." He laughed again.

"I admire her as a woman. Her personality and character. Nothing more than that," mariin kong sagot.

Wren shrugged his shoulders. "If you say so."

Pasimple akong napaismid bago tumayo. Sinundan niya 'ko ng tingin.

"Eh? Where are you going, Ced?"

Naglakad ako patungo sa pintuan. "Going to check if Daphne is doing what I told her to be doing. Resting."

I could see him pouting in the corner of my eye. "Ehh??"

I opened the door. "Go back to your room as well, Wren," I said before leaving.

I was greeted by the dark hallway, with only the moonlight as my guide. Mag-isa lang ako, deretso ang tingin. I have my usual expression on, but my mind was full of thoughts.

"I mean, this character has a thing with ate Sera, you know? Aren't you threatened?"

I don't like Seravina that way.
