The sun came through the window, making me blink a few times for my eyes to adjust properly. The first thing I noticed is that I wasn't in my own bed, I thought of the night before. Mac's kisses, his panting, the feel of his body...
I glanced behind me and saw his sleeping next to me. That's when I remembered how I got to be in his room in the first place.
Once we were able to untangle ourselves from each other, we came upstairs fully intending to go to our own beds. I was by my door that lead to the stairs up to my room. He stood by his, but that grin he gave me made me melt. He'd slowly walked over to me, kissing me again. Then before I knew it I was in his room and had less clothes on.
I laid back down on the pillow, trying to suppress my smile as I thought of it all. My phone buzzed, making the bedside table vibrate. I tried to grab it quickly before the sound would wake up Mac.
I glanced back again to check on him, but I had been too late. He was already opening his eyes, taking in his surroundings just like I had done moments before. I couldn't help but feel nervous. Now that he'd slept and sobered up, he might not be pleased to be waking up next to me, remembering the things we got up to whilst everyone else had was asleep.
His eyes landed on me and he smiled. I felt butterflies in my stomach, I silently told them to go away. "Morning" Mac said. He sounded groggy. He shifted closer to me, wrapping me up into his arms, resting his head against mine.
I could feel his breathing in sync with mine as we lay there. "How'd you sleep?" he whispered. I couldn't even find the words, I was too distracted by him. I tried to drink him in as much as I could, I didn't want this feeling to ever end. He looked so different without his glasses on and his messy bed hair. His hand rubbed my back, making me involuntarily moan at how nice it felt.
My phone buzzed again, completely ruining the moment. Now Mac moaned but not in a pleasant way. "Tell whoever that is that we wanna be left alone". I had forgotten that my phone was still in my hand from where I grabbed it. I had to pull away from Mac a little to see my phone. I had two texts, both from Tom.
"Yo! Where are you?"
"Seriously? are you okay? Why aren't you replying?"
"It's Tom" I said to Mac "He's looking for me". Mac pulled me back in. "He can wait" he replied. He put his lips on mine pushing me to lie on my back. He ran his hand down my body and under the covers, placing it between my legs, rubbing.
We continued to kiss as he slipped a finger inside, I gasped.
"Mac?"
Tom was calling up the stairs, we broke away from each other, instantly panicking. It sounded like he was coming up the stairs.
Fuck.
Mac looked around for a hiding spot. He pointed to the wardrobe too scared to actually say the words. I shrugged and jumped in it, using a blanket to cover myself up, Mac found some joggers and threw them on himself, just in time as Tom opened the door.
I watched through the crack of the wardrobe door as Tom entered Mac's bedroom. "Yo, Have you heard from Eve? No one's seen her and she's not replying to any of my texts"
Tom was always so dramatic. Mac shrugged pretending he'd only just woke up. I saw him shake his head but just as he did I could tell he spotted my phone. Tom saw it too, his eyes narrowing as he was trying to figure out why it was there.
"She left it downstairs last night so I just bought it up" Mac quickly explained. "I think she's just running some errands" he continued. Tom seemed to accept that answer and I sighed with relief.
"Explains why she's not replying then" he said as he left. The bedroom door closed and I came out from my hiding spot. Mac put his hand over his mouth trying to stifle his laughter. "That was so close" he said quietly, he wrapped his arms around my waist. "I did just give you an alibi tho.. Spend the day with me". I smiled widely at him. He did have a point. No matter what I did now I had to leave the house for at least a few hours.
"Okay" I said and he kissed me again, telling me to get dressed.
