3rd person pov A male siren was swimming through the ocean. He had to get away from his family for a bit just to get some alone time. He was the oldest sibling in his family so he's the heir to the throne but he also loved his siblings and they all only ever wanted to do was play. However as heir he also needed to learn how to rule the siren kingdom. So in order to prevent himself from getting overworked his mother started sending him outside to get some alone time.
"Hmm...maybe I should get a human I am kind of hungry..." Y/n sighed before swimming closer to the surface of the water. He pokes his head out of the water and looked around only to frown.
'Damn no ships around' Y/n thought frowning to himself before going back under the water and taking a small nap as he waited for a ship to come by.
*1 hour later*
Y/n woke up when he heard a ship coming nearby. He perked up and swam closer to the surface of the water. He spotted a ship and decided he wanted to have some fun as humans were often to stupid to tell the difference between mermaids and sirens. Humans often sought after mermaids due to either their beauty or their willingness to help humans however despite their beauty humans often avoided sirens for the reasons that they prefer staying away from humans unless they're hungry.
'Why not have some fun after all it's not often I get to come this far outside the palace' the male siren thought as he poked his head out so he was spotted. Normally a way to tell a siren from a mermaid was their tails since mermaids stayed higher up their tail's color are way brighter but since sirens stayed deeper in the water their tails were darker in color. However since he was of royal blood Y/n's tail was more of a purple then any darker color.

He swam closer to the ship and smirked when he heard one of the people on the ship yell something about seeing him.
"Mermaid on the left side!" A man shouted and suddenly Y/n spotted a male who he assumed was the captain. His eyes widen as he locks one with the captain and suddenly felt a instant attachment and he couldn't help but get closer.
"Hello what brings a fine crew like you all the way out here?" Y/n asked as he got closer to the ship. He looked over the ship and noticed it didn't seem as armed as most ships around here are so either they were fishermen or were going to restock.
"Just adventuring lad" the captain says kneeling down to speak to the siren. As soon as Y/n heard his voice a slight blush come over the prince's face. He knew what this was it was a siren's love. To siren's their love was intense as it was an instant thing. To humans Y/n could understand why a human would see it as obsessive since once a siren saw their love interest it was an instant connection and the siren would do anything to get their love to love them back. Y/n got closer until he was within grabbing distance to the captain and smiled, without showing his teeth as that would reveal he wasn't a mermaid.
"Adventuring huh? Well come here and I might be able to tell you something" Y/n says making the captain leaned closer to the prince wondering what he could be talking about. Once he was close enough Y/n grabbed him and pulled him into the water. The captain shouted gaining the attention of his crew but it was already to late as the siren had the captain where he wanted him.
"Water is nice isn't it?" Y/n asked tilting the captain's head up. He smirked when he spotted a slight blush on the human's face and allowed his sharp teeth to show.
"See something you like human?" Y/n asked as the human's eyes widened as he realized what Y/n was and tried pushing away but Y/n had a grip on him and wasn't planning on letting go.
"Now now human don't worry I'm not going to hurt you~" Y/n cooed as he saw the crew watching in fear as they all started realizing what Y/n was.
"S-Siren..." the captain stuttered as he stared at the prince's mouth which made Y/n grin. He loved human's reaction to finding out he wasn't a harmless mermaid but rather a siren who if he wanted to he could easily kill whoever he had in his grasp.
"Correct....oh you humans can be so easily tricked" Y/n teased as he could feel his heartrate increase at being able to hold the....no his human so closely.
"I'll be nice and let your crew throw anything you want overboard" Y/n informs confusing the captain.
"W-Why aren't you just gonna eat me?" The human asked and Y/n chuckled and pulled the human captain closer.
"Originally I was...but I've changed my mind...now have them throw anything important to you overboard before I change my mind" Y/n huffed he was starting to get impatient. He wanted to bring the human back to the cave nearby the palace where his mother said she turned his father into a siren.
"F-Fine....Marcus you know where my bag is. T-Throw it overboard" the captain stuttered making one of the crew members shakily nod and run towards where Y/n assumes is the captain's room.
"So human what is your name?" Y/n asked wanting to know more information about the human.
"Um...it's Tristen w-what's yours?" The human asked trying to wiggle out of the siren's grip but the prince refused to let go.
"My name? Oh it's Y/n" The siren responded and they waited a few seconds until the crew member comes back and throws a bag overboard and Y/n looks at Tristen.
"Is that all human?" Y/n asked looking down at the captain who shakily nodded as Y/n grabbed the bag.
"Very well then. Farewell humans" Y/n coos before looking down at the struggling captain.
"Come along then human" Y/n says then before the captain could respond the siren swam off bringing the human and his bag with him.
