Chapter 13

  Three weeks later...

   Things started changing for the better for my new life here in Furtopia. Weeks of training in the base did change my physically a little as I felt a little more stronger and energetic as I started to feel in great shape as I felt my torso felt more skinny during the time. I was allowed to have my personal assault rifle and sidearm as I did well on my weapon training.

   I started to get along well with the girls, mostly Krystal since she helped me mostly by helping me adjust. Dasha, she taught a few things to stay strong and to stand up for myself that we just clicked as well. Loona and I didn't talk much together in the beginning since she is always busy in her free time and she always wants to be out of the house, but we talked now and then during dinner, but Loona and I will soon click. As for Nika, well she is a pain in the ass by her immaturity and that she constantly picks on me for fun. However, she does try to get my attention on some occasions when we try to learn how to get along to be friends, but it's a slow process to be honest.

  
  As it was a new day, today is the mission to Zoness and push away the FOA from there. We were able to get some information from some spy that Empress Erica hired. Krystal looked at the photos she received from Katt as she started to feel terrified and sad feelings from the captured humans by her telepathic powers.

  She wanted to do anything to save them from whatever the FOA is planning on them. Dasha noticed that she was quiet and emotional as she tried to help her stay vigilant during the mission. I was in the changing room as I put on my gear around my uniform and grabbed my space helmet and placed it over my head. I looked at the mirror as I was nervous about being on my first mission since I could be killed in action by the enemy.

  "Yo Stan! Are you ready? We need to hurry at the hangar since Natalya is waiting for us." Loona says as she knocks on the door.

  "Coming!" I shouted as I loaded my rifle and followed Loona and Nika to meet with the others at the hanger.

 
  "About time the rest of you showed up. This mission is life or death since Katt told us the humans could be in danger." Natayla says as she gave the photos to Loona.

  "Sorry Major. Nika was having trouble finding her uniform from the laundry this morning." Loona says as she loaded her sidearm.

"I found it, didn't I?" Nika asked as she scoffs.

"No bickering. Just get on the ship. We have little time." Natalya says as she orders us into the spaceship.

  Krystal gets into the pilot seat of the bridge as she puts her space helmet on and turns on the ignition. We all got in and noticed that there weren't enough seats for us on the bridge. Dasha and Loona got into their seats and there was only one seat available. Nika and I looked at each other and raced for it.

  Nika bumped me in the face with her breasts as she took the seat. I scoff in frustration but I stay tolerant with her but there is no seat for me to take. Do they expect me to hang onto something during launch? They should give enough seats for everyone on the ship, maybe it was a desperate decision that there isn't a better ship for us to get to Zoness on time.

"You snooze, you lose, honey." Nika says as she sticks her tongue out like a little girl.

"Real mature." I said to her with a disappointing look.

"Save the energy, she's not worth it. Just sit with me." Dasha says as she pats her lap.

"You're joking right?" I asked.

"Just sit on her lap like a good toddler, baby." Nika says as she starts laughing a little.

"Shut up." I snapped back at her.
