The next day, I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock as it was 9 in the morning. Slammed the snooze button since I wanted to sleep a little longer. But, Krystal had to knock at my bedroom door.
"Breakfast Stan!" She shouted.
I moaned in frustration and got up anyway and put on my glasses and fixed my bed hair before going to see the girls in the dining room, except Nika waiting for me. I guess Nika has to stay at the UFE base as punishment.
"Morning Stan." Dasha says with a smile as she slid me a plate of bacon, eggs, and toast.
"Morning." I spoke as I sat down.
"Sleep well?" Loona asked.
"Yeah, that's why I didn't want to get up." I said while eating some eggs.
"Then, you'll miss breakfast which is an important meal of the day. I see you're not much of a morning person." Krystal says as sits next to me.
"You got me there. So what's the plan for the day?" I asked
"Well, in a week. We are assigned to go to a UFE space station that is far into the corner of our Galaxy to help push back the FOA from attacking living planets there. And we are going to stay there for a two-week period." Loona explains.
"How fun." I spoke.
"Is that sarcasm?" Dasha asked.
"Yes. When don't just go attack the enemy directly to their home, Nexudust? And the war will be over." I suggested.
"It's not that simple. Their home planet is like a fortress, a ship full of our soldiers won't even survive landing on it. We just need to help other home planets and unite with them to defeat the FOA. This war will take like months or years for it to be over." Krystal explains.
Sounded true wars can be endless, especially the one I'm of part of now.
"But enough about our careers. Just thinking about having fun like a party or something in the city." Loona suggested.
"We can't do that right now. Our checks won't come in till tomorrow and I suggest we should just stay home and relax. We just came home from Corneria yesterday." Dasha explains.
"Maybe you're right." Loona says as she finished her plate.
Later...
Krystal was doing some of her gardening in the backyard while Dasha, Loona and I were having fun in the swimming pool.
"Come on Stan. Just jump." Loona says as waited for me to jump off the high diving board.
"Relax will ya. It's my first time." I said as I was nervous about jumping off.
Loona scoffed as she gave me a shove.
"Gahhh!" I shouted before I fell into the water.
Dasha started laughing as she swam to the deep end to see if I was alright.
"That was uncalled for, Loona." I said after I swam up
"Oh please. I just helped you." She says before she dives into the water.
I scoffed with a smile as I waited for her to swim up and splashed some water in her face.
"You want to play that game?" Loona asked if she splashed me back hard.
"Yep." I said as I splashed back.
We both kept splashing each other until Dasha splashed both of us hard. She laughed until Loona and I splashed her back. We were having fun in the pool until we heard Natalya calling us.
"Hey mom. What is it?" Dasha asked as she came out of the pool.
"Just here to give your checks for the two weeks, and the payment for the Corneria mission." Natalya explains.
"Just leave them on the table, we are in the pool." Loona says.
"And I'm here for Stan. He needs to come with me for a few things."
"Why's that?" Dasha asked.
"Erica requested him to finish his registration of being a citizen here. And since he has been receiving payments, he is required to have a bank account." Natalya explains.
"Okay. Just need to dry off and change." I said as I got out of the pool and headed inside.
As I headed inside, Natalya decided to ask her daughter just to mess with her.
"Are you going to marry him, Dasha?" She asked.
"What?! We are just friends." Dasha denies it.
"Are you sure about that? You have been close to him." Natalya asked with a smirk.
"Not as close as Krystal being close to him." Dasha explains.
"Just admit it Dasha. You like him too." Krystal says from a distance.
"Quit reading my mind!" Dasha shouted.
"Why don't you two share him?!" Loona suggested.
"You stay out of this!" Dasha shouted.
Natalya tried not to laugh as she knows the truth that I'm their love interest. She went inside to check on me as she knocked on my door.
"Are you ready yet?" Natalya asked.
"Coming." I spoke as I came out in some normal clothing.
"Great. Empress Erica needed you to do some final registrations for you to become an official citizen of Furtopia. And after that, I'm going to help you get a checking account since it's a requirement since you are getting paid hefty for the UFE. Besides, are you dating my daughter?" Natalya asked.
"Well, I don't know about that since we just knew each other for almost 4 months." I explained.
"Well, if you are dating my daughter. Treat her right." Natalya says as we headed to her mobile spaceship.
I sat at the front as Natalya piloted the small ship as we headed to the Empress's skyscraper in the middle of the city once more. We landed onto the landing zone and we escorted into the chambers. Erica was waiting for us as her guards escorted me to an office to do some paperwork. The registration process was pretty simple as I just had to sign my name and ask questions.
After the paperwork was done, they took a picture of my face and printed out an ID card for me. It's official of me being a citizen of Furtopia now.
"Ok, you are all done." The government official says as he took me back with Erica and Natalya.
"One more stop Stan." Natalya said with a smile as we flew to a bank.
"Just wondering, how is Nika doing?" I asked.
"Well, she is serving her punishment and will come home after 3 days. Her behavior improved and she will lay off her drinking for a while. Why do you ask?" Natalya asked while explaining.
"Just wondering if she is alright after I made her leave the restaurant, upset by my outburst at her." I explained.
"She's doing alright, I know she can be immature most of the time and says unreasonably provocations. It's just over the death of her brother." Natalya explains.
"I know. I'm going to be tolerant with her, but she just needs to be understanding on her part of just being nice for once." I explained.
"She will. I helped her out on that. Trust me, I consider her as a daughter of my own since she is close friends with Dasha." Natalya explains.
"Alright."
"Have you eaten yet?" Natalya asked.
"Not lunch yet." I answered.
"We can stop somewhere for a bite. Maybe we should have a mother and son relationship." Natalya suggests as she flies down into the city.
