Preparations

The towers that were sleeping woke up to some very loud machinery sounds and when everyone went outside they saw Engineer and tons of other random people were working on building what seemed to be tanks and attack helicopters.

Ranger: What the hell is going on?

Engineer: Me and these people from a survivor are building some vehicles to help us for our eventual battle against the void forces.

Scout: Wow.

Gladiator: How have you guys built so much overnight?

Engineer: Ok.

The towers were just chilling around the base training and helping Engineer build the many vehicles while others were helping Swarmer make rations. It was fairly chill but while the towers were hard at work Commander walked out of his office and pulled Accelerator and FrostBlaster Aside.

Commander: Can you two go explore the nearby abandoned city as there has been weird sounds coming from there.

Accelerator: Bet

Accelerator and FrostBlaster headed towards the nearby abandoned city ready to explore it because they were never in missions because Commander wanted them to train as they explored Accelerator tried hitting up a conversation.

Accelerator: Why do you never talk Frosty?

FrostBlaster: ...

Accelerator: You a bit shy or somethin?

FrostBlaster: ...

Accelerator: You gonna give me the silent treatment you scared?

FrostBlaster: ...

Accelerator: Whatever lets explore this abandoned police stations to grab some Pistol amo for Scout and CrookBoss.

The two split up and while exploring Accelerator found a man who seemed to be a police officer wielding a Shotgun looking through some documents.

Accelerator: Ey!

???: Huh-

Accelerator: Who are you?

???: The names Shotgunner

Accelerator: Meet me outside I need to go get my "partner" that came in with me.

Shotgunner: Bet.

Shotgunner left the building and Accelerator looked for FrostBlaster and snuck up behind them:

Accelerator: Raah!

FrostBlaster: EEP!

Accelerator: So you do speak, and you are a WOMAN?

FrostBlaster: Uh- Heh-

Accelerator would grab FrostBlasters hand and dragged her out of the building with him so them and Shotgunner. FrostBlaster wanted to say something but she was embarrassed. The three of them made it to base and Shotgunner introduced himself to everyone while FrostBlaster had a silent panic attack and was talking to Medic in her lab.

Mortar: For some reason nothing has gone wrong today at all.

Soldier: It's a bit weird now that you think about it...

Just then the base alarms started going off and the towers looked over to the nearby port and saw a few of Team Vigilantes war ships aiming for the nearby port next to the port to cause damage and they fired the cannons and they started to rip the port apart.

Sniper: Ey Engie we need your cannons ASAP!

Sniper, Mortar, and Ranger climbed up an tower at the base and while Ranger and Sniper were picking off any of the Vigilante crew members out in the open Mortar fired shells at the boats that were slowly turning towards the reformed TDS base.

Ranger: Guys get down!

The three climbed down the ladder as a rocket was fired at the sniper tower destroying it instantly.

Sniper: That was close!

Mortar: Engineer what is taking you so long.

Engineer: We can find any rockets or tank shells to fire at the war ships you guys distract em!

Commander: Everyone find cover now!

Another rocket was fired from the Vigilante war ships destroying a satellite that the base had which was bad because the towers couldn't call for backup.

Engineer: Guys we found some tank shells!

The towers started loading the tanks and firing the shells at the nearby warships to damage them and to make them flee.

Neko dj: Are they gone?

Swarmer: I think?

Commander: Is anyone wounded?

Eclipse Commander: It doesn't appear that anyone is.

Soldier: Man those Vigilante people don't give up do they?

Maid Commander: Never seem to unfortunately but we can't do anything about it.

The towers quickly started to try to repair the bases antenna but it would take a while so all they could do was really prepare for another ambush if one is to come that is...

Shotgunner: Hey guys I found this SNES in a retro game store I raided like a few days earlier anyone want to play Super Punch Out with me?

Scout: I'm down.

Accelerator: Bet
