The Eclipse. [Part 3]

It was morning by now and the towers were in search of their third target aka Penumbra as he knew where the Umbra was located and it would be key to stopping this invasion. Currently the towers were packing up their supplies and moving out deeper into the city hoping to find Penumbra.

Neko Dj: Man I'm tired..

Scout: It's what you get for refusing to go sleep and instead practicing your singing voice.

Neko Dj: Well duh it's my passion.

Sniper: Oml-

Commander: Can you guys cut the chatter as we're getting closer to Penumbras location.

The towers silenced themselves after that and when they seemed to be close to the Penumbras location Commander checked in on him coms and called for a helicopter to send some "Elite forces".

Commander: Okay so I might sound crazy but the eclipse rays are way to strong for any normal tower to go into without a path being cleared so only me and one of you guys can come to make the path safe.

Scout: I call dibs!

Commander: Scout it is then-

Commander handed Scout and outfit that was purple and black and had gold accents and a moon crest woven on the shoulders the clothes were button up ish and there was a white undershirt and black pants with some padding under it.

Scout: Wow this stuff is an intresting fit-

Shotgunner: No fair he gets to come!

Commander: You got armor?

Shotgunner: Yeah?

Commander: Where is it then?

Shotgunner pulled out doom slayer themed armor so he was aloud to come along for the adventure. So Commander, Scout, and Shotgunner went into the eclipse themed forest to try to make the path safe for the others to get into the forest.

Shotgunner: Man this forest gives me the creeps

Scout: Yeah.

Commander: Shh! We can't make too much sound.

Shotgunner: Seesh someone's cranky.

Suddenly the three were surrounded by eclipse troops who were armored and they started firing at them because they didn't want to die and they managed to pick a few off but they got pushed into a clearing were the eclipse rays didn't seem to effect the area. But out of the trees came many more eclipse soldiers.

Scout: What do we do Commander?

Commander: Start fighting.

The squad instantly open fired on the eclipse forces but they were getting pushed back a lot until a helicopter landed and out jumped Mortar, Minigunner, and Accelerator.

Accelerator: Need some help Commander?

Commander: Oh god it's you- and yes we do

The others joined them to help kill the forces easier but Calvary started to arrive and they were wicked fast on their horses.

Mortar: Oh boy I'm glad I upgraded my mortar shells for this situation.

Minigunner: I'm glad I got better gear lol.

The towers killed the little around of Calvary and grouped up a bit.

Commander: Ok we need the pilot to go get the others to this safe spot but we also need to lead them throught the forest on foot for plot reasons.

Minigunner: Makes sense but the eclipse rays will burn us.

Mortar: Glad eclipse wove an outfit for me.

Commander: Put one of these eclipse soldiers armor on-

Minigunner: Ight.

Minigunner put on the armor and the towers led the helicopter through the forest and it managed to get the others so they all made it to the clearing.

Medic: That took a long time Coms-

Commander: Sorry we got ambushed lol.

Gladiator: Nice armor Minigunner.

Minigunner: Thanks man.

Out of nowhere eclipse soldiers seemed to surround the area from all sides and a massive battle started with a ton of the eclipse troopers getting slaughtered. Just then Penumbra appeared.

Penumbra: Halt! This is where you take your final breath. You are in the presence of the Knight of the esteemed Mistress. In her name I will strike you down!

Mortar: Simp alert!

Sniper: Simp!!!

FrostBlaster: Bro is so down bad 💀💀💀

The Penumbra was pissed off and sent out tons of men to attack the towers but they were dealt with swiftly besides one scratching Medics leg which just made her sad.

Penumbra: Your strength is admirable. However, I will not fall to whoever is not worthy to be graced by
Her presence. If I fall here I will never be able to tell her...- Never-mind-

Accelerator: Please kill the simp.

Gladiator: Oh trust us we will.

The towers slaughtered the many troops the Penumbra sent at them but they didn't seem to penetrate their defense but the troopers were all eventually killed leaving Penumbra and a sword and he instantly charged at Gladiator catching him off guard knocking him back and disarming him-

Gladiator: Wh-

Of course it was a panic as Penumbra was moving to fast to be seen but Scout just fired his pistol and it grazed the Penumbras leg knocking him down.

Penumbra: Agh- Now I know how a chipped tooth feels.

Scout fired three bullets into the Penumbras head causing him to fall to the ground not dead but I'm very critical condition.

Scout: We will leave him to die.

Medic: Kinda harsh end his misery at least-

Accelerator: I'll do it.

Accelerator grabbed a knife and took the Penumbras head off cleanly leaving its corpse to bled out slowly.

Commander: Now we need to find the Umbra.

Mortar: I see a portal nearby maybe that's where the Umbra is.

CrookBoss: It's worth a shot.

Gladiator: I suppose.

The towers all approached the portal and each of them stepped into it one by one.
