Paladins 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 // Keith Kogane x Fem reader.

GREETING'S AND GOODBYE

Lance and Hunk groan as they enter the castle bridge. 

"You made it" Allura sighed in relief "Yeah just barely. I almost puked out there. I felt like Hunk" Lance exclaimed "Think how I felt. I am Hunk" 

"Yeah...we had a tough time too" Pidge and Shiro smile to each other. "Did we find the red lion yet?" Shiro asked. 

 "Allura just located it. There's a bit of good news and bad news. The good news is, the Red lion's nearby. The bad news is, it's on board that Galra ship now orbiting Arus . But wait, good news again. We're Arus !"

"They're here already?" Shiro said "Yes. Guess my calculations were a bit off. Finger counting—I-It's more of an art than a science. Hmm?"

"But bad news again, Azura hasn't come back yet"  Keith said in a stern voice before a portal opened from the sky catching everyone's attention "That's not our portal" Allura said as she ran towards the glass window. "No but It's Azura's. Look!" Shiro said as the gold wolf came out of the Portal. 

"Geez that thing is so realistic!" Lance exclaims "Princess Azura present. Apologies for being late, had to catch up with a friend." Azura said through her mic. "Thank the ancient's you're alright. Hide the lion inside and come on, you're the last one" Allura replied "Copy that" 

A few minutes later the door opened revealing Azura. Allura was the first to run towards her and give her a hug "You're alright!! You're safe! You're- soaking wet..." Allura let go of her sister "Whyyyyy are you soaking wet?" She asked. 

"Long story. But I found my wolf" She said. Suddenly a video transmission over takes the castle ship screen, and a purple man appeared.  "Princess Allura, this is Commander Sendak of the Galra Empire. I come on behalf of Emperor  Zarkon, Lord of the Known Universe. I am here to confiscate the Lions. Turn them over to me, or I will destroy your planet." The transmission ends

"All right. Let's not panic" 

"Not panic? Th-The scary purple alien thing is driving his battleship towards us. We only have three working lions and a wolf" Hunk stated 

"Technically two working lions" Pidge corrected

"Yes thank you Pidge. Two working lions a-and a castle over ten thousand year old"

 "A-Actually, it's 10,600 years old. You see, it was built by my grandfather—" Coran was cut off by Hunk.  "Thanks Coran, thank you for that. You see? Now is the perfect time to panic" 

"Wait, the castle has a particle barrier we can activate!" Allura said "Girl you already activated my par-" 

"Lance!" Shiro and Azura say at the same time before Azura flicked him on the back of his head making him yelp out a 'ow'.

"The particle barrier won't hold Sendak's ion canon forever. The Galra technology must have advanced since the last time we fought" Coran said "Panic now?" Hunk suggests  "No. We've just got to figure out our plan of action, aaand... figure it out quickly." 

"I say we pop through a wormhole and live to fight another day"

"I second that. Yes. I mean, we tried to find all the Lions, right? We gave it the old college try. Couldn't do it. We only have three. We can't form Voltron. I man, I guess we could form a... snake? Or a worm! To go through that hole, Lance, that you were talking about." Hunk says.

Azura pinches her nose bridge clearly annoyed. "Then it's settled. Allura and Azura you ride with me. One of you guys take the old guy" 

"We can't just abandon Arus. The Galra will keep destroying planets and capturing prisoners until we stop them." Pidge says before a 'Thank you' was heard from Azura from across the room. "Okay. If we run, then maybe will follow us and leave this planet alone, like when we left Earth . We form the snake-worm thingamajig and we—hisss out of here."
