Paladins 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 // Keith Kogane x Fem reader.

Assembly Needed

My eyes opened before I  shot up from my bed, my covers falling off my chest as I  taking slow deep breaths. "What time is it?" I muttered before looking at the clock that read '5:14 AM'. I groaned to myself knowing it was going to be an awkward day with Keith and Allura. I got up from my bed before I headed to the bathroom. If I can't sleep might as well just train. 

After taking a shower, brushing my teeth and hair I step out of the bathroom and changed into my armor and put my hair in a braided bun and grabbed my sword before walking out of my room and headed outside to train. Yes there is a training room but I'm not used to training there.

 As I was passing the Castle-bridge I heard the monitors beeping "Morning Lily" Allura greeted "Morning" I paused before peeking my head through the door "Why are you up so early? You don't usually get up until the sun rise" I ask "Me and Coran are repairing the castle. Care to join us? Or will you continue to train?" Allura offered but I declined "Alright then, be careful outside lily" 

"I will! Love you!" I call out as I walked away from the castle-bridge. Once I was outside I was met with the cold air. It was still a bit dark outside but that didn't bother me. My sword extended into full length and I started my training. After a thousand years in that capsule I felt a little lazy, relying on my powers and wolf would not be a good thing for me. 

A few minutes of practicing my kicks, sword skills, I stopped. The sword was amazing but wasn't a good weapon for me. "I wonder if I could" I closed my eyes before picturing a weapon of sorts in my head. The sword was suddenly engulfed with a white color before the sword's shape changed, becoming longer, and thinner shape. I opened my eyes to see the sword had now become a spear. 

"Bloody hell" I exclaimed and examined the spear. This was different, the blade was a bit smaller but there were two on either side so I couldn't complain. While examining I noticed it has a line that wrapped around the middle. I shook the spear before it suddenly separated into two, now becoming two katana's "Woah!" I yelled. 

"Not bad" With that I started to train once more, I trained until the sun came up. I finally finished and my spear descended into a small rod, I went inside and headed towards the kitchen but stopped in front of the castle-bridge's door to see that Coran and Allura were still working. "I'm headed to the kitchen to get a drink, anyone want anything?" I called "It's okay princess, we ate already a few minute while you were outside" Coran replied. 

I gave a nod before walking towards the kitchen. When I arrived I grabbed a glass before filling it with water and gulping it down. I didn't have anything else to do so I made a portal, entering it and exiting at the castle-bridge. 

"Anything I can be of used of?" I offered "It's alright lily, Coran is just finishing  up. How about we talk? " Allura said, I wasn't sure why but I agreed. For the next hour we just had a talk and laugh, Coran joining in sometimes. 

"Princess, the alarm is ready" Coran said "Alarm?" I asked "The Paladins haven't woken up yet, so I decided to do a little something" Allura had a grin on her face "And let me guess, when they get here you will have a angry face?" I laughed "You know me so well sister" She said before pressing the button, making a loud alarm blare through out the castle. 

"EVERYONE UP! ZARKON'S ATTACKING! THE CASTLE IS ABOUT TO BE DESTROYED! GO, GO, GO1 WE NEED VOLTRON NOW!" Allura shouted at the speaker, her voice blaring with the alarm. 

"HURRY WE CAN'T SURVIVE THIS MUCH LONGER!" Allura shouted once more as I try not to let out a laugh. 

"You've got to sell it a little bit more." Coran said making the both of us raise an eyebrow before Allura handed the microphone to him while I waited for a show.
