Paladins 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭 // Keith Kogane x Fem reader.

Rebirth

As Voltron and the wolf await for the transportation ship to open. "Oh, no!" Pidge yelled "Please tell me there's not a giant monster in there. Please tell me it's empty! Or full of space candy. One of those two. Either one is fine." Hunk begs. 

  "I don't think it's a pinata Hunk" 

"If it's the same monster that attacked us on Arus, we already know how to beat it" Keith says as he summons his Bayard and placed it on the Bayard key hole, summoning Voltron's saber as Pidge readies the shield and Azura attached the wolf on Voltron's back. 

"Hold your ground!" Shiro orders 

The ship opens, revealing a different monster. Before anyone could say anything the Monster immediately uses it chest canon on Voltron. Voltron uses the shield to block the attack but gets pushed back as they do so. 

"It's not candy!" Hunk screamed "It never is!" Azura screamed. 

"And it's not the same monster!" Lance screams. Just then, the creature blasts a powerful chest blast towards Voltron, who frantically dodges the blow. "We need to draw it's fire away from the Balmera surface!" Shiro instructed. 

Voltron tries fighting the creature while flying around, trying to avoid getting the Balmera hit. Suddenly, the creature blasts another chest canon, which Voltron tries to block with the shield but fails. "We cant hold out!" Lance yells "My lion is weakening  If the shield sustains structural damage, we're done for!" Pidge informs. 

"Pidge is right!" Keith says, completely ignoring Lance. "Oh, Pidge is right. I'm the one that said we cant hold out!" Lance yells "Lance, watch your footing!" Keith reminds, but suddenly the blue lion trips, causing Voltron to fall over. 

"Lance!" Azura scolds as the others all groan from the fall. ""Okay, team Voltron. Disband!" Shiro ordered and they did just that.  "Everyone, evasive maneuvers! It can't shoot us all at once!" Unfortunately, the creature spread it's arms to reveal more canons before firing all of the canons at once to  assault the paladins with laser fire. 

"Okay, it can do that  too" 

"Were doomed aren't we" Azura says as the Lions and the wolf run all over, trying to avoid getting hit. Just then, the castle appears, hitting the creature. But the creature blasts back at the castle. "Where does Zarkon get these beasts from? And how do they keep finding us?" Allura's questioning voice echo's through everyone's communicator. 

"Princess, the particle barrier wont sustain much longer. Its still not at full strength after the blast from the Galra ship" Coran said. 

"Keith, try to draw its fire! Its coming in from above" Shiro said "Roger!" Keith uses the red lions heat ray to draw the creatures attention, as the black lion sneaks in from behind, ready to fire it's mouth canon. Suddenly, the Robeast rotates its eye canon and blasts towards the black lion. Fortunately, Shiro pulls the black lion away the last second. 

"This thing is impossible to beat!" Azura stated

"We need to find its blind spot!" Lance said "I don't think this thing has a blind spot" Pidge replied as Hunk frantically avoids the lasers while screaming "Laser eyes. Laser eyes!" 

"What do we do? Fighting this thing is like fighting an entire fleet at once!" Pidge asked "I think we got to aim for those lasers and take them out" Keith said. 

"We'll cover you from up here!" Allura informed. The Castle fires lasers at the creature, making it retaliate with an onslaught of fire lasers against the Castle's particle barrier. 

"We've lost the spectral generator! Going to reserve! There's a fire in VIN bay three! Suppressors on! Suppressors out! Princess, the ship is being torn apart!"
