I cry at the sight of love
My heart cries at sight of genuine love
Ohh, to be looked at with those shining eyes, filled with love and care just like a baby opening its eyes and looking at their dearest parent,
accompanied by the sweetest smile that would put honey to shame
A touch filled with tenderness, like a soft feather-filled pillow hugging all of you, comforting you through all of it
A kiss, filled with passion, like a melty marshmallow on a smores, hot, soft and sweet
A hug so warm, like a weighted blanket protecting you from the harsh cold
But here I am
A child with no one to look at, who opened their eyes forcefully
A burdened smile, stitched with every mischief it spoke
A lonely touch, as rough as a rock, as heavy as the mountains
Without a kiss, with these chapped lips, dried with every salty tears it tasted
Hugged by coldness itself, no longer knowing what warmth felt like
