I used think
That all my misfortune
With family
With friends
With love itself
Is because of my sexuality
But as the days progress
Where women are allowed to marry women
Where men can love men
Where people outside those two categories are now being seen
I no longer think my sexuality is a factor
A variable to be consider
Its because I am me
Im hated
Unloved
Betrayed
In constant pain
Its all because of me
Because I was me
Coz I am me
And sadly, I'll forever be me
