Miso POV
"What's your deal with my boyfriend nerd?" Chaesoo huffed, slamming my locker.
"Sorry?" I asked, stumped.
"I saw you hanging out with him yesterday, and not to mention an Instagram post? I'm not even on there!" She huffed.
"What Instagram post?" I asked, trying to keep my cool.
"Are you dumb or what?" She huffed, shoving her phone into my face.
I was taken aback when there was indeed an Instagram post with me in it.
Chaesoo huffed before snatching her phone away from my face.
"So? Was I wrong?" She laughed, putting her phone in her purse.
I stood there for a while, unsure of what to do.
"Why? Are you too scared?" She scoffed.
At this point, many students started noticing the commotion and started gathering around.
"I'm sorry but can we handle this privately?" I whispered.
"Why? Do you have something to hide? Is that it?" She huffed, shoving me to the ground.
I scoffed before getting back up.
"Are you that insecure?" I mumbled.
"What?" Chaesoo asked, inching closer.
"Are you insecure? Is that it?" I said loudly.
There were oos and aaas coming from the crowd as Chaesoo looked at me, taken aback.
"What did you say?" She scoffed, "Me? Insecure because of you?" She continued, adjusting her hair.
"Yeah? Are you so afraid that Jake would dump you for me?" I huffed.
She huffed as the bell started to ring.
"I'd say more but I don't want to get my scholarship revoked so I'll leave you with this." I scoffed, walking off to class.
"Well at least I'm not poor!" She shouted.
I sighed before walking off to class.

"What was that about?" Jieun huffed as she sat on Jake's table.
"I dunno... speaking of which, where's Jake?" I asked, looking around the empty classroom.
"He's sick, posted it on his instargam." Jieun laughed as the rest walked in.
"I heard about Chaesoo..." Haneul sighed, setting down some snacks onto the table.
"Ooh! And it got posted on the school forum." Hwayoung exclaimed, taking her phone out of her pocket.
"And Jake is sick which is why Chaesoo started the fight." Aureum sighed as she took a bite of her kimbap.
I sighed, taking a chip from Hanuel.
"Mhh! Tell us what happened yesterday!" Aureum laughed.
"Yeah! You're literally the first girl that's ever been on his instagram!" Hawyoung exclaimed, taking a bite of Aureum's kimbap.
I hesitated as the rest looked at me with anticipating eyes.
"Nothing much honestly." I let out as the rest groaned.
"But..." Hanuel let out in frustration.
"Do you even see him that way?" Jieun asked, curiously.
"Ew no! Of course not!" I huffed.
"Have you even dated anyone before?" Aureum asked.
"Of course!" I laughed.
"Oh who!" Hwayoung asked.
"I dated this guy called Hyuk but we didn't work out so we just stayed friends." I laughed.
"Wah... You so cool!" Jieun laughed.
"Mhh! Anyway..." Hanuel started as she picked up her notebook.

The next week
Miso POV
I walked into school and noticed that the hallways were empty.
Strange... Was I late?
I checked the time on my phone only to see that it was still early.
"7.50"
I shrugged before taking a few books from my locker and walking to class.
It was when I was approaching my classroom when I heard loud chattering coming from inside.
What could it be about?
I walked into the classroom only to see people crowded around Jake who had just returned.
I sighed and pushed my way through to my seat.
"Sorry"
"Excuse me?"
I said repeatedly but to no avail.
I sighed in defeat, unsure of what to do to get back to my seat.
It was then when Jake noticed me and mouthed a 'hi'.
I smiled before mouthing a 'hey' back at him.
'Aren't you going to sit?' He mouthed once more.
'I can't, too crowded.' I smiled, mouthing back once again.
He turned his head to look at my seat and noticed someone sitting on it.
He huffed before telling people to make way and for the person to get off my seat.
I stared in awe as they did what was told.
Just then, the bell rung and all the students rushed out of class and some back to their seats.
"So how have you been?" I asked as the teacher walked in.
"Alright I guess, do you mind if we hang during lunch? I want to ask you some stuff." He smiled.
"Sure!" I laughed.
"So how did you get sick?" I asked, curious.
"I don't know actually, but I think it was from the beach." He shrugged.
"Oh by the way, do you have instagram? I wanna tag you in a post!" He smiled, taking out a post it and a pen.
"Oh I do!" I laughed as he passed me the post it and pen.
I quickly wrote my handle down before passing the post it back to him.
"My account is public by the way." He laughed.
I smiled and nodded as the teacher started taking the attendance and briefing us about the upcoming camp.

"13 Thousand followers?!" I gasped as I clicked on the account.
"Geez... whee is he getting all these numbers from?" I laughed.
"Do you see how much he posts? He's practically an influencer." Hanuel laughed.
"Yep! only 2 thousand of them are people he's actually seen before." Jieun added as I pursed my lips.
"I see..." I let out, accepting the follow request.
I continued to scroll through his account to see his posts.
"Geez.. is he some undercover model?" I laughed just as our english teacher walked in.
With that, everyone quickly rushed back to their seats as I placed my phone into my bag.

Jake POV
I walked out of science class and saw Miso waiting outside for me.
"Hey! How come you're so early?" I laughed.
"My teacher was absent today, shall we go?" She asked.
I nodded just as Chaesoo ran up from behind.
"Babe!" She exclaimed, hugging my arm.
"Hey..." I smiled.
"Shall we go eat lunch together today? I've missed you." She laughed.
I turned to see Miso cringing.
"Sorry." I declined, removing her hands from my arm.
"Why?" She asked.
I turned to look at Miso once more as she smiled at Chaesoo.
"Oh I see." Chaesoo huffed.
"Mm! I'll go grab us food and I'll meet you at the rooftop?" Miso asked.
"Mm wait! I ordered us some pizza, do you mind collecting it?" I asked, quickly passing her my phone.
"Sure!" She smiled before I whispered my password into her ear.

She stared at me for a while, as if she understood the meaning of it.
I watched as she walked away before turning to Chaesoo.
"What the fvck?" I huffed.
"What? You keep hanging out with that stupid Miso girl." Chaesoo scoffed.
"And so what? Our relationship isn't even real." I scoffed.
"And?" Chaesoo huffed.
"And it means I can hang out with whoever I like." I responded.
"And it includes Miso?" Chaesoo retaliated.
"So? What does that have to do with you? Is she your girlfriend?" I said sarcastically.
"No but just so you know, I can call off the merger any time I want." Chaesoo whispered.
"Then do it, you wouldn't dare right?" I scoffed.
Chaesoo gulped, as if she was about to say something else.
"And besides," I continued, "I like her more than I've ever liked you and your nasty attitude." I whispered before walking off.

"Jake! Over here!" Miso called out as soon as I reached the rooftop.
"Hey!" I smiled as I rushed over.
She opened the pizza box before handing me back my phone.
"I love your wallpaper by the way, is it yours?" She laughed.
"Oh Layla? Yeah... She's my dog." I laughed awkwardly as we both sat down.
She smiled and nodded as we both took a slice of pizza.

Jieun POV
"Oh Miso went to hang with Jake by the way..." I informed the rest as I sat down at the table.
"Again? Is she starting to forget about us?" Hwayoung whined.
"She isn't, but I feel like Jake's stealing us from her." Hanuel joked.
"He must be... do you see the way he looks at her? You literally can't tell me he doesn't have a thing with her."Aureum sighed.
"What do you mean?" I asked, curious.
"I don't know how to explain it but you'll know when you see it." Aureum laughed.
"You can call it eyes of love I guess." She continued, picking up a fry.

Miso POV
"Oh and I heard about last week." Jake laughed.
"Last week?" I asked, taking a sip of water.
"Mhm! It's all over the school forum." Jake exclaimed, pulling out his phone.
He quickly unlocked it and moved to sit beside me to watch the video.

I laughed upon hearing this.
"Oh yeah..." I smiled.
Jake quickly put his phone in his pocket before taking a sip of water.
"Are you okay? Don't let her get to you." He reassured.
I smiled and nodded.
He must've not watched the whole recording.
"Oh and I don't know if this is personal but..." I started.
Jake quickly turned to look at me upon hearing this.
"your password... does it mean anything? I'm kinda curious..." I laughed.
"Oh... It doesn't mean anything don't worry about it." He laughed.
I nodded and smiled as we continued enjoying our meal in silence.
But I could have sworn I'd seen it before...
