The air was a grey haze of cigarette smoke and strobe lighting. Screams of wild chaos vibrated through my entire body as Stirling entered the arena.
Lu smiled in a cunning way and arched a perfectly manicured brow like she knew all too well what was about to happen.
"There's going to be nothing left of the other guy once he gets through with him." Lu happily pointed out. "Watch closely Rae."
Stirling was cracking his knuckles and bouncing on the spot like he was trying to raise his heart rate before a big work out.
Damn, I hated how good he looked.
The spotlight beamed down brightly, accentuating all of his sculpted muscles and women all around me drooled.
"This is his grand plan?" I scoffed, underestimating the impact it could possibly have on me. "To show me how well he fights in the ring?"
"No his grand plan is to show you just enough to scare you into submission but not enough to give you nightmares." Lu stated. "All of this is only a tiny snapshot of everything that he is."
I thought about Stirlings nightmares, only fleetingly because I watched him set his impenetrable glare onto his opponent.
There was something so powerful and confident about his stance, like there were no doubts in his mind he was going to own this fight.
