Sunoo slammed his head against his locker with a dull thud, the sound echoing through the nearly empty hallway. "Wonie, please help me! What am I going to do?" he groaned dramatically, sliding down to the floor in defeat. Everything was spinning out of control—first it was Hanna, and now Jake? How did his life become so complicated?

Jungwon stood beside him, arms crossed and completely unfazed. "Just choose whoever you think Sunghoon would find more attractive," he suggested with a shrug, as if the solution were obvious.

Sunoo let out an exasperated whine. "I don't know, man! For the first time in my life, my brain's completely fried!" He dropped his head back against the locker with another dramatic thud. "Nothing's working!"

Before Sunoo could hit his head again, Jungwon stepped in, stopping him with one hand. "Okay, okay, relax. I might have an idea," he said, trying to sound reassuring, though there was a mischievous glint in his eyes.

Sunoo side-eyed him suspiciously. "But has your brain ever functioned properly?" Jungwon teased, clearly enjoying Sunoo's meltdown.

Sunoo shot him a glare so sharp it could've sliced through stone. "Aren't you supposed to be helping me? Why are you making this worse?" he whined, throwing his arms up dramatically like a child.

Just as Jungwon was about to reply, a familiar figure rushed past them—a guy with puppy-like eyes and round glasses. Sunoo's eyes widened, recognizing Jake immediately. This was his chance. Without a second thought, Sunoo took off running after him.

"Sunoo! Wait!" Jungwon yelled after him, but Sunoo wasn't listening. He was too focused on catching up to Jake.

Jake glanced back and immediately started to speed up, but Sunoo was faster. Before Jake could escape, Sunoo cut him off, grabbing him by the arm and slamming him—gently, but firmly—against the lockers.

Sunoo's face was inches from Jake's, his expression serious. "Explain yourself, four eyes," he demanded. His voice was low, his eyes narrowed, searching for answers. How could anyone like Sunghoon, of all people?

Jake's face flushed red, his glasses slipping slightly down his nose as he blinked rapidly, trying to keep his cool. "E-e-explain what?" he stammered, his voice shaky, clearly rattled by Sunoo's sudden confrontation.

Sunoo let out a frustrated groan. "The fact that you like Sungh—" But before he could finish, Jake clamped a hand over Sunoo's mouth, his eyes wide with panic. He quickly scanned the hallway, then practically dragged Sunoo into the nearest bathroom.

Sunoo stumbled inside, glaring at Jake as he pulled away. "Dude, what the heck?!" he snapped.

Jake, hunched over and looking like he wanted to melt into the floor, raised his hands in apology. "Sorry, but you can't just say that in the middle of the hallway!" His voice was hushed, and the nervousness radiating off him was almost palpable.

Sunoo rubbed his temples, trying to calm down. "Fine, fine. But do you or do you not like Sunghoon?" he asked, lowering his voice but keeping his tone firm. He was determined to get to the bottom of this.

Jake looked up at him, startled. "I don't like Sunghoon!" he blurted out, his eyes wide behind his glasses, as if the mere suggestion was absurd.

Sunoo blinked, thrown off by the sudden denial. "Wait, what? Then what was all that about yesterday?"

Jake fidgeted, biting his lip as he avoided Sunoo's gaze. After a moment, he sighed, as if resigning himself to his fate. "I don't like Sunghoon," he said quietly. "I like his brother, Heeseung."

Sunoo's jaw dropped. Heeseung? This was a twist he hadn't seen coming. He took a moment to process, then let out the longest, most relieved sigh of his life. All this worry for nothing.

But then reality hit him again. "Wait—then why didn't you just say that?" he asked, his exasperation returning. "You had me thinking Sunghoon had two love interests!"

Jake let out a nervous laugh, scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry," he mumbled, still looking like he wanted the ground to swallow him whole.

Sunoo narrowed his eyes at him for a second longer before letting it go with a sigh. "Alright, fine. But if you like Heeseung, then you have to help me get in touch with Hanna," Sunoo pleaded, switching back to his original mission.

Jake hesitated for a moment, then pulled out his phone. "I can give you her number," he offered, his voice still soft but more confident now. He tapped a few buttons and handed Sunoo the contact info.

Sunoo couldn't believe it. After all that chaos, it had been this simple all along. He finally had a way to contact Hanna. He grinned, feeling like he'd won the day.

"Thanks, man," Sunoo said, genuinely appreciative. Jake gave him a small, shy smile in return, and Sunoo couldn't help but notice the guy wasn't half as timid when he wasn't panicking.

At least, today was turning out better than expected. Or so he thought.
