Sunoo burst out of the bathroom, his heart racing as he scanned the bustling cafeteria for Jungwon. He spotted his friend sauntering over, an air of casual confidence about him. "Did you see Jake just now?!" Sunoo blurted, his voice rising in excitement.

Jungwon raised an eyebrow, puzzled. "Jake?"

"Jake!" Sunoo exclaimed, practically bouncing on his feet. "You won't believe what I just found out!" He pulled Jungwon into an enthusiastic hug, practically vibrating with anticipation.

"What is it? Don't keep me waiting!" Jungwon replied, curiosity gleaming in his eyes.

Sunoo stepped back, speaking quickly, "Jake doesn't like Sunghoon! We don't have to choose anymore!" Relief washed over him, lifting the weight of earlier chaos.

Just then, Jake approached them, his voice barely above a whisper. "Hey, do you mind if I eat with you?" He shifted on his feet, avoiding their gaze as if he might vanish into the floor.

Sunoo glanced at his watch—lunchtime already. Memories of yesterday's drama flooded back, but he shook his head, pushing the thoughts away. "Of course you can eat with us!" he said, throwing an arm around Jake's shoulders, squeezing him in a friendly gesture.

"Yeah, dude! You're always welcome to join us," Jungwon added, a warm smile spreading across his face.

As they made their way to the cafeteria, Sunoo couldn't suppress a laugh. "It's great that you asked! Our shy friend over there could use another buddy," he teased, nodding toward Jake.

"Hey, I'm not that anti-social!" Jungwon protested, rolling his eyes, his playful banter lightening the mood.

Jake laughed, a genuine smile breaking through his nervous demeanor. "How long have you two been friends?" he asked, looking between them with curiosity.

"Stuck with this dude since kindergarten," Sunoo replied, leaning closer to Jake. "He keeps me grounded. Save me from his antics."

"What? I'm the one who needs saving from him!" Jungwon exclaimed, pretending to be offended, and the lighthearted exchange brought a sense of camaraderie to the trio.

As Sunoo stuck his tongue out playfully, they rounded the corner into the cafeteria. Laughter caught in his throat when he spotted Park Sunghoon at their table, a sly smirk dancing on his lips. Not this jerk again!

Without a second thought, Sunoo rushed toward Sunghoon, determination propelling him forward. Jungwon's expression morphed into alarm as he exchanged a concerned glance with Jake, who looked genuinely confused, glancing from Sunoo to Sunghoon.

Sunoo slammed his hands on the table, glaring at Sunghoon. "What are you doing at our table? Get out!" His voice sliced through the cafeteria noise, drawing the eyes of students who paused mid-bite, curiosity piqued.

Sunghoon shrugged, unfazed by Sunoo's outburst. "Come on, Sunoo. Don't you want to be close to the person you like?" His teasing gaze locked onto Sunoo's, a challenge glimmering in his eyes, his smile infuriatingly playful.

Heat flushed Sunoo's cheeks as his fists clenched at his sides, the world around him narrowing to just Sunghoon and the simmering anger building within. He felt the air grow thick with unspoken words, and just as he prepared to unleash his frustration, Jungwon stepped in, grabbing Sunoo's arm firmly. "Don't," he urged, his voice low but steady, as if he were trying to anchor Sunoo in the storm.

Sunoo turned to Sunghoon, frustration boiling over. "Seriously! How many times do I have to say it? I don't like you!" The words thundered through the cafeteria, drawing attention and whispers from nearby students, the once lively atmosphere freezing into a collective hush.

Sunghoon rose from his seat, sauntering toward Sunoo with an infuriating calm. Leaning in close, he whispered, "You're making a scene. Can't you do anything right without being so annoying, Kim Sunoo?" His breath was warm, and the proximity ignited something chaotic in Sunoo, a mix of anger and something else that made his heart race.

In a surge of pent-up frustration, Sunoo slapped Sunghoon across the face. The sharp crack echoed, and the cafeteria erupted into gasps, the sound bouncing off the walls like a bombshell. To everyone's surprise, Sunghoon didn't retaliate; he simply stood there, stunned, his expression shifting from playful to something deeper—disappointment, perhaps.

"G-guys, talk it out instead," Jake stammered, his voice trembling as he stepped back, wide-eyed and uncertain, glancing around at the staring students. But the charged air seemed to thicken, an invisible force field that kept Sunoo and Sunghoon locked in a standoff, neither willing to back down.

Sunghoon touched his cheek, slowly turning his head. "Is this how you show love? I don't think it's very nice," he said, his tone laced with an unsettling sadness that cut through Sunoo's anger.

Sunoo felt his knuckles whiten as he prepared to unleash another blow, adrenaline coursing through him. But Jungwon tightened his grip, holding him back, the tension palpable between them. The cafeteria was alive with hushed whispers and darting glances, students leaning closer to witness the unfolding drama, anticipation hanging thick in the air.

Just then, the door swung open, and a teacher burst in, her presence commanding immediate attention. "What's happening here?!" she barked, eyes darting between the two boys, confusion and authority radiating from her.

Sunoo's heart raced. This isn't good!
