Sunoo found himself waiting outside Sunghoon's classroom, a move he never thought he'd make. Despite their animosity, he knew this was crucial for his plan of revenge. The seconds dragged on, each tick of the clock amplifying his anticipation. Was it a foolish move? Perhaps. But he had come too far to turn back now.

Leaning against the wall, Sunoo's gaze flicked toward the classroom window, scanning for any sign of his target. The air around him felt charged, and he reminded himself that this was his chance to finally get even. He had been plotting this for weeks, and the anticipation was nearly unbearable. But if he couldn't get close to Sunghoon, all his hard work would be for nothing. Frustration bubbled inside him, and he let out a huff.

Just then, the sound of footsteps pulled him from his thoughts. He turned to see Jake approaching, his bag slung casually over one shoulder.

"I thought you were a psychology major," Jake said, a teasing lilt in his voice. "What are you doing outside a Software Engineering class?"

Sunoo took a deep breath, scrambling to keep his composure. He couldn't let Jake catch on to his true intentions. Instead, he seized Jake's shoulders, his voice dripping with false enthusiasm. "Where did you come from? And if you were in that class," he pointed to the door, "was Sunghoon there?"

Jake tilted his head, clearly puzzled by Sunoo's sudden urgency. "Uh, yeah," he replied slowly, glancing back at the classroom. "He was just in there—" But before Jake could finish, Sunoo's eyes lit up as he spotted Sunghoon walking out, his hoodie pulled low over his face.

Without wasting a moment, Sunoo grabbed Jake's hand. "You're coming with me! I need you to help break the ice!"

Jake stumbled in surprise. "I-I'm not good at talking to people!" he protested, but Sunoo was already dragging him along.

"Hey, Hoon!" Sunoo called out, noticing Sunghoon glance at them before turning his attention back to the hallway. Sunghoon's expression shifted, annoyance crossing his features. Sunoo quickened his pace and playfully wrapped his arm around Sunghoon's shoulder, hoping to lighten the mood.

"Hey, don't ignore me!" he pouted, trying to inject some humor into the tension. Sunghoon shot him a pointed look. "Can you stop being so friendly?" he said, his voice laced with irritation.

Sunoo quickly retracted his arm, feeling awkward but determined. Just then, Jake panicked and blurted out, "Did you get the notes for class? I totally forgot!"

Sunoo rolled his eyes as Jake fumbled over his words, clearly lying through his teeth. Sunghoon's brow twitched slightly. "You forgetting your notes is like an alien landing on Earth," he deadpanned.

"An alien?" Sunoo asked, confused.

Sunghoon shot him an incredulous look. "How stupid are you? Obviously, it's never happened before."

Sunoo felt his cheeks redden. "Right! An alien is something strange and unexpected, like you forgetting your notes," he shot back sarcastically, casting a glance at Jake for support. But Jake was visibly uncomfortable, shifting his weight from one foot to the other.

"I, uh, have club activities to do!" Jake stammered, the words tumbling out in a rush as he hurriedly made his way toward the exit.

Sunoo watched him leave, crossing his arms and letting out a quiet mumble. "A friend, am I right?" He immediately regretted the comment, realizing it sounded harsh. Turning back to Sunghoon, he noticed that he had already started to walk away.

"What the hell?" Sunoo exclaimed, exasperation evident on his face as he stomped his foot on the hard concrete floor like a petulant child.

Just then, Jungwon called out from behind, his curious eyes darting around. "What's up with the sighing, and why are you standing in front of the Software Engineering class?" he asked, intrigued.

Sunoo let out another sigh and dramatically slid down the wall, back against it. "Why does everyone keep asking me that? Can't you just let me be?" he cried out, his voice tinged with frustration.

Jungwon rolled his eyes, arms crossed. "Let me guess—Sunghoon, aka the emo?" he asked, clearly aware of the source of Sunoo's irritation.

Defeated, Sunoo nodded. "I was just trying to talk to him, and in the split second that I looked away, he vanished!" He mimed an explosion with his hands, adding, "It was like he mastered the art of disappearing!"

Sunoo sat in thought for a moment, and then an idea struck him. His face lit up with excitement. "That's it!"

"What's what?" Jungwon asked, raising an eyebrow.

Sunoo's fingers intertwined as he explained, "We could make it impossible for him to disappear! But how, you ask?" He let out a boisterous laugh that quickly deflated, his shoulders slumping. "I have no idea."

Feeling useless and defeated, Sunoo lamented, "I'm useless!"

Jungwon sighed, then spoke reassuringly. "Get up. I'll help you find him." Sunoo's eyes sparkled with renewed determination.

"Really?" he asked, a hint of hope creeping into his voice.

"Yeah," Jungwon replied , leading the way down the hallway.
