Alixa's POV
Sophie was wearing a v neck shirt that was pulled down way too far.

"She's definitely getting dress coded."

"Oh yeah. Definitely."

"It probably won't take a while either."

"Baby? Mine are down here."

Skylar looked down.

"My bad, darling."

"Oh Jesus Christ...her hair looks like yours now too."

"She what?"

I turned around and saw that she had brown hair. Just like me.

"Yep. She's trying to copy you."

"What's next? She gets a butt lift?"

"Yeah. Probably."

"What happened to her hating my body?"

"That's a good point."

I caught Skylar staring at mine. I don't care since he's my boyfriend. He loves me for me though. He doesn't love me because of my body. That's easy to see.

"Yep. I'm about to be sick. She's playing with them now."

We heard static noises and heard her name getting called to the office. I covered my mouth and snickered.

Sophie used to be a beautiful girl. Since she's been friends with Carmella...

She's completely lost all of her beauty.

She should really get refunds.

I'm not saying that all plastic surgery is bad...

It's just bad for her.

She even started getting the same piercings as me.

She was actually desperate for someone to love her. She really wanted to be like me. She started asking football players out.

I just decided to let her be a copycat. It's none of my business and it's not my problem. I started shrugging it off.

She was clearly jealous that, I'm dating the star quarterback of our school's football team.

Me, Skylar, and River were at my locker talking when Sophie walked up to us.

"Hey uh..I'm sorry."

I turned around.

"For?"

"Everything. I-I should've been thankful that you tried to help me."

I put my hand up.

"Let me stop you there."

I put my hand down.

"Why're you apologizing 5 months later? If you were truly sorry, you would've apologized right away. I see what you're trying to do too. Let's face it. You're trying to look like me. You body shamed me now you're trying to copy my body? That's a bit hypocritical, in my opinion."

"She's right. It kinda is."

"If you were your regular self, someone would love you. Karma sucks, doesn't it?"

The bell rang.

"Alright. Time to go to class. Bye!"

She walked away with her head down.

"Damn babe. Where'd that come from?"

"No idea. I'll see you during lunch. Bye guys."

I waved while walking. I stopped waving once I was away from them. I walked to class proud of myself for once.

I had stood up for myself and I never do that. I normally let everything get to me.

This time...

This time was different.

There's only one me.

She can't replace me.

I watched as Sophie sold tickets to her own downfall. I don't judge her. I just feel bad for her.

One day...

A new student showed up. They started dating within a month.

I didn't understand why, she was jumping into things. We've both known River and Skylar since middle school.
