Chapter 23

Alixa's POV
I finished getting ready then I found Rosaria. She was just chilling in the living room. She was playing with some of her toys.

"Hey sweetie."

"Mamaaaaaa!!!"

She jumped up then ran into my arms.

"How was your breakfast? Dadda said you like muffins now?"

She nodded then babbled.

Her 1st birthday came around and she was so fucking spoiled.

She got so many new toys, clothes, and plushies.

A few days later, I had to go to the doctor's. Skylar was stuck at football practice so he couldn't come with me. I decided to bring Rosaria with me.

I sat down in a chair and had her on my lap. My arms were wrapped around her. She was looking down at my phone. She was playing a game.

My doctor walked in after a few minutes.

"Everything seems great. Did you know you're pregnant again?"

"Oh um. No. I didn't."

"Congratulations."

I smiled.

"Thank you!"

I looked down at Rosaria.

"Do you know what this means?"

"No."

"Mama has a baby in her tummy."

She pointed to my stomach.

"Baby in mama tummy?"

"Mhm. That's your baby brother or baby sister."

My phone pinged and I looked down.

Skylar: I'm done with practice. Can you come pick me up now?

"Looks like...dadda's done with football practice. Let's go get him."

We left the doctor's office then went to the store quickly. I had to go to the bathroom so I grabbed a pregnancy test and a shirt that says "Best Big Sister Ever!"

I went home and quickly used the pregnancy test. It came back positive. I picked the shirt up and took the tag off.

"Come here sweetheart."

I quickly put the shirt on her.

We got to where Skylar was. I started recording her.

"Sweetie? Look up at mama."

She looked up at me and smiled.

"What're we about to tell dadda?"

"Baby in mama tummy!"

"Mhm!"

We got to the football field behind our high school. I took the pregnancy test out of my mini backpack. I let go of her hand.

"Go give dadda this. I'm gonna follow you."

She grabbed the pregnancy test and started running. I started walking faster.

"DADDA! DADDA!"

I kinda caught up to them and started walking slowly.

"My princess! Hello!"

He wrapped his left arm around her and scooped her up.

"What's this? What're you holding?"

"Go on! Give it to dadda! Tell him the surprise!"

"Baby in mama tummy!"

He dropped his football gear and she handed the positive pregnancy test to him.

"You're pregnant again?!"

He put her down then ran up to me. He put his hands on my hips. He pulled me into his arms. He kissed me.

I looked behind him and saw Rosaria. She was trying to pull Skylar's things. I laughed then pointed behind him.

"Hm?"

"Your princess is trying to grab your football gear."

His eyes widened and he turned around. He ran up to her.

"Too heavy!"

I started laughing. He picked his football gear then wrapped an arm around her again.

He scooped her up. She crossed her arms.

"Aww what's wrong?"

"Too heavy!"

He chuckled while we started walking to the car.

"I'm sorry. Did your football jersey come in the mail yet?"

"Mhm!"

"Does it fit?"

"We're not sure yet. She wanted to wait for you."

"Oh? You wanted to wait for me? You're too adorable."

"Where's Riv?"

"He didn't show up. He had to go pick Cody up."

"Ah. Okay."
