Alixa's POV
"Oh baby....you haven't even seen naughty."

"Is that a threat?"

He didn't say anything. He just smirked. I crossed my arms. We made it to school in one piece. He parked in his regular parking spot. We got out of the car then grabbed our things. We closed the car doors then he locked his car.

We started walking into the building. River was leaning up against Skylar's locker while using his phone.

"Yo!"

He took his earbud out and turned his phone off.

"Yo. How's Rose?"

"She's good. My mom's with her."

"That's great. I don't remember if I asked but...how's she been adjusting to the new house?"

"She got scared when she got lost at first. Now she thinks it's a fucking game."

"Ah. So she's good?"

"Yep."

"What about you both?"

"It was rough. Your brother here is finally starting to like the place."

"Oh?"

"Yeah."

"Have you started teaching Rose how to swim?"

"She's had a few lessons."

"She seems to be enjoying it for the moment."

The first bell rang and we started heading to our classes. My first class of the day is with just River. Skylar's first class of the day is down the hallway.

I see the both of them literally all the time. I have classes with them. We have lunch together. Me and River walked into our first class and sat down in our regular seats.

Carmella and Sophie walked in. They were both smiling and laughing. River leaned over to me.

"All must be well between them."

"Looks like it."

We both shrugged. Our teacher walked into the classroom.

"Good morning everyone."

Me and River are the only ones who say it back. I felt something hit the back of my head. I turned around in my seat. I saw Carmella and Sophie snickering.

Yeah...

Sure...

Throw shit at the pregnant girl.

I stared at them for a few seconds then turned back around. I went back to working on my schoolwork. Another thing got thrown at me.

"I saw that! I'm separating you two! Sophie switch with Dylan!"

"Thanks a lot Alixa!"

The hell did I do?

I'm just sitting here.

I have nothing to do with this.

They're the ones throwing shit.

I pinched my nose bridge and took a deep breath. I once again, went back to working on my schoolwork. I finished early. I started working on my homework.

Class ended and we all packed our things up. Me and River were the first few people to walk out of the classroom.

"What the hell were those two doing?"

"No idea."

The three of us were at my locker when I saw unfamiliar faces.

"Any idea, who those two are?"

They both looked over their shoulders.

"Nope."

"They must be new."

"The girl looks pregnant."

"Um don't you know you shouldn't say shit like that?"

I started staring at River.

"I know what a pregnant girl looks like."
