I speed walk down the dark hallway, "Lilly wait!" Carl yells.
I'm pissed, why in the hell did she have to come in. Now she'll be calling us "love birds" for months, or longer. I keep walking and Carl grabs my arm, "Lilly stop, it's dangerous down here there could be walkers and I can't let you get hur-" a loud scream comes from the end of the hall.
"What the hell?" I say grabbing my gun.
"Was that Carol?" Carl asks.
"No she's outside on watch," I say.
We run down the hall and open the door at the end of it. There's 5 people in the room fighting off walkers, my mind races. How in the world did they even get in here?
Me and Carl start to shoot and take down the walkers, the people just stare at us. I open the door back to the hall. They stand there in shock, I would be shocked too if I saw kids take down walkers right in-front of me. "Come on!" I yell.
We all run down the hall, me and Carl lead them into a different cell. One of the women is hurt, she's bit. They set her down on the ground, she's limp. "I'll do it," I aim my gun at her head.
"No!" One of the men says, "we take care of our own".
Carl backs out of the cell and motions for me to come out too, I walk out slowly. We close the cell and lock it.
They start to freak out, "The room is safe, you have food and water," Carl says.
"Hey let us out!" A woman yells.
One of the men steps up and grabs her arm, "Sasha, they helped us. This is a lot safer than out there".
She backs away, now we wait.
