As time that felt like hours but was actually minutes passed by, Luffy tried to fall asleep next to the king but failed to do so. He wondered why it was so hard for him to sleep due to it not being his first time sleeping in this bed next to Law.

Luffy tossed and turned as he tried to get comfortable. Then once he was semi comfortable he closed his eyes and tried to drift off to sleep, but each time he did he couldn't help but have his mind filled with memories and thoughts of the last time he was next to him like this.

He remembered the first time in his bed they had come back from their date and Law saved him from those men who wanted to send him to a brothel. When Law was asleep that night luffy had snuggled up close to the king's chest and rested there comfortably like he would a pillow.

The amount of comfort and warmth he felt that night was unlike anything like he had ever experienced with any other man. Not even his own boyfriend Eustass.

Yet tonight he couldn't find that same comfort and just found himself thinking about that moment and more to come if he chose to stay like this next to the man.

Then he realized he was burning up and knew exactly why. He was in heat.

Luffy panicked quietly but tried to calm himself down. The last thing he wanted was for the king to find out and take advantage of him. Still he couldn't deny the strong pull he felt towards the man, especially in his vulnerable state.

He took a deep Breath and tried to focus on something else, anything else. But his mind kept going back to Law, and how he longed for nothing more than to be held by him and his Warm touch.

As Luffy continued to struggle with his thoughts, he suddenly felt Law's arm wrap around him, pulling him closer swiftly. Luffy's heart skipped a beat and he froze from shock and not knowing what to do.

Just then Law's voice broke through the maid's thoughts as he asked “ are you ok?”

Luffy's cheeks began to burn red as he realized law must have felt his body heat and sensed something was wrong.

The maid hesitated for a moment before nodding his head, trying not to cause more distress to the king.

“You aren't I can tell,” Law started “You're in heat” his voice shook a little.

Luffy could Hear the tone of Law's voice switch and that's when he knew he had to get away from him. Just as Luffy shifted himself to a position to push himself away and leave the room, Law's Grip around him tightened as he pulled him back into his chest.

Luffy's heart began racing and he couldn't think Straight. He didn't know what to do or how to handle this situation. He had never been in heat around others before and would usually hide away in his small house. So naturally he was afraid of what might happen if he stayed in this room with Law.

Yet he couldn't get past the soothing breathing coming from Law as his hands traveled down under the covers of the bed and landed on Luffy's right thigh.Then the king began softly squeezing his thigh.

And yes luffy knew he should be scared out of of his mind but he couldn't help but feel comforted by his motion.

Luffy's mind was in turmoil, torn between wanting to push Law away and wanting to stay in his embrace. He couldn't deny the desire that was coursing through his body, but he also couldn't shake the fear of being taken advantage of.

But as Law's hand continued to gently massage his thigh, Luffy felt himself relax. He couldn't help but lean into the touch, his body betraying his mind. Law's warm breath on his neck and the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against his back were lulling him into a state of calm.
