Ellie sat slouched on the science classroom stools, her eyelids growing heavier by the second. She let out a tired yawn and rested her head on her hand as she began to loose concentration on the teacher standing at the front.
"We have to get into partners." Kyujin stated while nudging the girl beside her. Ellie nodded and sat up straight, automatically assuming her and Kyujin would be partners as usual.
Kyujin suddenly stood up and gathered her things, walking around the tables towards Jungwon. "Move. I'm partners with Sunoo." She ordered and kicked the stool he comfortably sat on.
Ellie turned around and sent Kyujin a judging look, she hated when she acted like this, it was so embarrassing. "Then who am I going to go with?" Jungwon questioned with a sigh, glancing beside him at his friend - who was too afraid to look up from his book.
Kyujin shrugged and began setting her stuff down in Jungwon's area. "Ellie doesn't have a partner." She pointed out, "just go with her." She suggested making Jungwon scoff and stand up out of his seat, looking down at Kyujin with a harsh glare.
"Gladly." He tutted and put his things down with an annoyed expression - although it soon went after he turned to speak to Ellie. "Looks like we're partners." He softly smiled and shuffled his stool closer towards hers.
"I guess so.." The Byeol girl softly mumbled with a slight smile, tucking her hair behind her ear in the process. She nonchalantly glanced behind her to see Kyujin and Sunoo both laughing while trying out the experiment. She let out a sigh and turned back to her own desk - in all honesty, she had been feeling slightly left out for a few days now, she felt as though kyujin was always choosing her boyfriend of her and Ellie felt hurt by it.
"You can go first." Jungwon stated and pushed the microscope towards her. Ellie nodded and slowly hovered her left eye over the microscope, being able to see the Crystal up close in all its glory. Just as Ellie was about to hold the hair that kept falling forward in front of her face, Jungwon got there first and held it up in a ponytail formation for her.
"Thank you," she muttered and pulled back from the microscope, letting Jungwon take his turn. The Byeol girl watched the boy closely, his eyebrows were creased together, his tongue subtly resting in between his slightly parted lips, he held the microscope by his neck with caution - careful not to damage anything. "What do you think it is?" She questioned as she pulled out the book of Crystal names and their meanings, placing the book between the two.
Jungwon hummed and looked through the book, "I could see purple as well as blue and pink." He mentioned and Ellie nodded in agreement. "I think it is the Rhinestone." He stated and looked at Ellie for her response.
