Chapter 35: The Camp

Malhotra Industries

Employees were busy working and discussing Aarav's noticeable absence from the office.

"Pata nahi aisi kaun aa gayi hai ki jo boss office bahut kum aate hai.." one employee remarked.

"Haan! Aur aate hai toh phone aate hi chale bhi jaate hai.." added another.

The manager overheard their conversation and sternly addressed them, "tum log yahan kaam karne aate ho toh kaam karo! Ek email karunga na toh do minute mein tumhara termination letter mere haath mein hoga.. Sir ki absence mein main hun office sambhalne ke liye samjhe tum sab"

Apologies were made, and work resumed. Soon, the manager received a message from Aarav, instructing them to email daily reports during his week-long absence, emphasizing the consequences if they failed to comply.

"I am away for a week.. Make sure everyday reports are emailed to me at night! Otherwise you know the rules." He read the text exhaled a deep breath.

Feeling the pressure, the manager anxiously looked at the team, went to his desk, and closely monitored everyone.

One of the girls chuckled, thinking, "khud ke gale pe talwaar latki hai aur humhe dhamka raha hai jaise humhe pata hi nahi Sir ke rules"

Meanwhile, the manager wondered "pata nahi sir kisiko itni importance de rahe hai! Kuch bhi gadbad hui yahan toh inka toh kuch nahi hoga job meri jayegi"

Malhotra Mansion

Khushi, filled with excitement and nervousness, prepared for a trip with Aarav. She carried her bags downstairs to the hall where Sharda had been waiting for her. She blessed her "Main asha karti hun ki jab tum aur Aarav wapas aao toh dil mein koi nafrat aur dard na ho sirf ek dusre ke liye pyaar ho" she said with a hope

Khushi took a deep breath and just smiled in return. No matter how harsh she had behaved with Aarav all these years somewhere in her heart she always wanted to show her father that she stills hold attachment with him but that hatred had always overpowered her emotions always.

She commences towards the exit and waited in the car for Aarav to come.

She walked out and sat down in the car waiting for Aarav to come. In a minute, he comes out of the house leaving her surprised dressed up in his suit. She sighed deeply "typical Aarav Malhotra.."

He sat down beside her and she gave him a look. He made a face "ab kya kiya maine?" he questioned as he noticed that annoyed expression,

"Aap office meeting pe jaa rahe hai?" she questioned.

"Nahi" he denied.

"Toh yeh suit pehenke kyun aaye hai?? We are going on summer camp" Khushi argued

"Tumhe mere kapdo se matlab hai ya mere jaane se?" he asked softly.

Exasperated, Khushi sighed, realizing arguing with him was futile.

"Waise bhi main tumhara guardian banke jaa raha hun! Aur Aarav Malhotra ka apna style hai.." He stated.

"fine!" she agreed and Aarav smiled as the driver took them to their destination.

Panji, Goa

Manvi had been busy organizing the day's events at the camp when a student rushed to her, expressing his desire to leave.

"mam.. Mujhe nahi rehna hai iss camp pe! I want to go back home" he complained.

Manvi looked up, smiling, and asked, "kyun? Kya hua?"
